- WWWillDec 3, 20241.0Six months after my fence was installed I noticed bowed fence post, boards pulling away from the post, splintered wood and shotty worksmanship. Called to see if they would come back out to take a look at it and was told they would. A month went by with no word from one of the part owners, Kevin. I texted him to see if he planned on coming out to look at it and he immediately called me with a confrontational demeanor informing me that he already came by to look at it (which i suspect was a lie considering I never received a follow up or informed that he stopped by) and said “thats just what wood does” and it’s no longer under warranty. He then proceeded to berate me for not noticing the defects sooner and said the most he was willing to do would be to come out when it gets warm to “run some more screws through” which I could obviously do myself. If you want to pay a ton of money for a crappy looking fence, Scott County Fencing is the place to go! If you’d appreciate being talked down to by a rude jerk look no further!

They ended up installing the fence earlier than what we originally expected, which was a really nice surprise because we were eagerly awaiting our new fence. Their prices were very reasonable, and the fence looks great. Tom, Kevin, and their crew were great to work with before and during the installation. They also tore down the old fence and installed the new one in one day - very efficient! Really pleased with our new fence.

He was kind and professional throughout the process. Prices were excellent compared to others in the area and they have stood behind their product, even servicing an issue caused by the derecho storm in 2020 and a vehicle that damaged an entire section of the fence this year. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work!
