  Very professional and accommodating! The technicians were a little late, but that is to be expected in this line of work. They were very communicative and efficient when they got here. I received a very reasonable bill in the mail. I would recommend them to all my family and friends. Thank you for the great service!

  I asked them to advise and execute a change of all lights in my shop from fluorescent to LED. They did good research, performed the easy first-half switch-out, then never came back, despite multiple calls (all cordial) And, of course, sent me a full bill for a completed job. Hard to believe they can stay in business long with those standards of practice! Maybe they’re having a rough patch.They’ve had a good rep in town for decades: not fly-by-night con artists!

  Two things you should have: Fair prices (This is Iowa not Massachusetts, cost of electricians is not the same), and reliable enough to do the job sooner than 4 weeks later. This Nelson Electric fails at both. People do not let them lie to you, the cost of residential electrical is not high...one of the easiest jobs for an actual electrician actually! Look for a different electrical company and or journeyman if I was anyone looking to use this company.
