  I Had my central AC system installed on 10/15/25, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I reached out to island comfort on 10/12. Supervisor Donoven came to evaluate my old system on 10/13. He is very knowledgeable. He helped me to decide on the system which will be the best one to meet my needs. He took time to explain the system and answered my questions. Donoven and his crew (Matthew, Fearen, and Josh) arrived on time on 10/15. Three technicians are very good. They work efficiently and showed great attention to detail throughout the whole job. They helped to clean up the mess which was left behind by the prior technician I hired who failed the job completely. They are very polite and professional. They also cleaned up completely after finishing--the space is spotless. They make sure the new system is running perfectly before they left my house. Supervisor Donoven called me in the evening to make sure the new system is good. I am very touched. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. I highly recommend this company and their technicians for anyone looking for quality HVAC work done right the first time!

  Mahalos Island Comfort! Albert was absolutely amazing at helping us with our install. He was very knowledgeable, skilled, attentive and had the best vibes ever. I highly recommend working with Albert & the Island Comfort Team, these are guys are the best. 10/10 Experience. I’ll definitely be recommending them to everyone I meet.   Jamie was/is great, he did a clean thorough job, excellent customer service. His supervisor Jeff was an absolute pleasure as well. Awesome service because of these two, I would recommend to anyone.

  One of my split units went bad. Island Comfort assessed the problem and advocated on my behalf with the manufacturer for replacement of the unit. Chaz Melchor is the tech from IC who came out and identified the problem. He then came back and installed a new unit. So glad I had previously purchased the extended warranty coverage. Chaz was such a pleasure to work with. He was always very courteous and professional. Every time he came to our house he was extremely pleasant, almost like he brought peace with him. While everyone at Island Comfort is wonderful to work with, Chaz is exceptional. He is very trustworthy and professional and I want him to be the one to work on our HVAC units. It unusual to find such a kind, reliable and professional on Kauai. Thank you Island Comfort for having such an awesome tech to work on our HVAC system. Don’t ever let Chaz go!
