Yes, we offer a free kitchen design service where our expert designers can help to visualise your ideas into a 3D plan. This service is available at depots and can be booked through our website.

Howdens supplies products, we do not fit. The only fitting service we have is for solid surfaces. Your local depot can help you with finding someone if you don't know where to start.

Where can I view Howdens prices?

The final price for the supply and installation of a kitchen is agreed between the homeowner and their trade professional. This may include additional costs, such as labour, transport, or a commission. We remain impartial to these discussions and are not responsible for the final price. Do you offer finance?

Howdens is a trade-only business so any purchases or quotes need to be made via a tradesperson with a Howdens account. Therefore all payment terms will need to be discussed with your tradesperson.

Do you have any showrooms?

We have three showrooms across the UK: one located in Raunds, another at our head office in Howden, and a third in Watford; we also have 800+ Howdens depots around the country where members of the public can view any ranges, products, and samples. Free Home Survey Service

A home survey is included within our free kitchen design service. One of our design specialists from your local Howdens depot will visit your property to take measurements, evaluate the space, and determine the best layout, style and design.

Lamona Appliance Support

We have a network of more than 80 independent service engineers positioned locally across the UK to support us with Lamona appliance repairs. This covers devices that are within the warranty period and those that are outside of guarantee. Contact your local depot to learn more or to arrange a repair service.

I have waited nearly a year before writing this review because the entire experience was so stressful that I genuinely needed time before I could even think about it objectively. When planning my kitchen, I made one requirement absolutely clear to both the kitchen designer at Howdens and the kitchen fitter from Kitchnninjas: I needed enough space for a standard fridge freezer. This was not an unusual request. I wasn't asking for a specialist appliance or anything oversized. I simply wanted enough room for a standard fridge freezer, which was one of the main reasons I was redesigning the kitchen in the first place. Both the designer and the fitter assured me that this would not be a problem. However, during installation, before the kitchen was even completed, it became obvious that there was not going to be enough space. When I raised this with the fitter, I was told the plans had been drawn incorrectly. When I contacted Howdens, they suggested it was the fitter's responsibility. Neither party seemed willing to accept accountability, despite the fact that I had repeatedly made this requirement clear from the outset. I then attended another appointment with Howdens and was assured that space had been allowed for the fridge freezer. This was simply not true. The gap left was exactly 60cm wide. A standard fridge freezer may be 60cm wide, but appliances require clearance and ventilation space. Any competent kitchen designer should know this. The most frustrating part was that this problem was entirely avoidable. It arose because the measurements and planning were wrong, despite my concerns being clearly communicated multiple times before installation began. Rather than taking responsibility and putting things right, the solution offered was that Howdens would provide any replacement materials needed, but I would have to pay another kitchen fitter to carry out the remedial work myself. In other words, I was expected to cover additional labour costs to correct a problem that I had specifically tried to prevent from happening. Nearly a year later, I am still dealing with issues resulting from this installation. The stress, inconvenience, and time wasted have been unacceptable. For such a simple job. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend either Howdens or Kitchnninjas. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and failure to resolve a problem that was identified before completion left me feeling completely let down as a customer. If you're considering a kitchen project, my advice would be to independently verify every measurement yourself and get every important requirement confirmed in writing. Unfortunately, verbal assurances were worth very little in my experience.
