- IGIsma GarciaAug 9, 20251.0This feedback is about the lorries and drivers linked to Heidelberg Materials – Hanson Aggregates Ardingly Depot, not the company’s products or other operations. In June, my car was struck by one of their lorries. The driver failed to stop, so I followed the vehicle and saw it enter the Ardingly depot. I have been in contact with the company ever since to try to identify the driver, but they have not been able to do so. I have not been shown any CCTV or evidence, so I cannot know what checks have been made. In August, I reported the matter to the police. I am concerned that some of their drivers do not drive safely and, worse, do not stop after a collision. I am now left paying for my own repairs, which feels deeply unfair.
