  Popped into this Wrens, after buying a kitchen from the MK branch. For installation Wren wanted to add another £2k. So we decided to fit it ourselves as most of the units are like mfi and already assembled. Just have to add doors & trimming. We weren’t sure how the trimming was going on & the instructions ( which are emailed) wasn’t clear. All the staff at this store were so helpful & explained how units were fitted, that I wish I had gone to this store to buy the kitchen. Staff very helpful. They are great for asking questions about a product.

  The company’s policies are misleading, and the brochure I was given was equally deceptive. They create false expectations of savings and strongly claim that no other company can beat their prices — which simply isn’t true. In reality, we got a much better kitchen from Haldens, including a solid oak worktop and all corner units, saving nearly £1,700 compared to this store. Despite being told they would price match, I had to go to great lengths to get a fully itemised quote from Haldens — only for the store to turn around and say they couldn’t match the price after all. Save yourself the time and money — Haldens offered far better value and quality. The only positive experience was with the salesperson, Northy, who was fantastic and genuinely tried his best. Unfortunately, the company’s misleading claims and broken promises were beyond his control. Make sure you get everything in writing if you’re relying on their price match offer.

  Design and build experience was really good - taken through the options and costs and the visuals and takeaways were very useful. The quality of the units themselves are very good. Strong, sturdy and looks great when installed. The only quibble I had was with the installation - although the builders themselves were very helpful, there was a lot we had to agree separately with them which I had assumed would be included in the installation price (eg, plastering over holes in the wall where they'd torn out the old extractor fan, making good on chips and dents to doorframe). We also had a situation where the cabinet design meant that we couldn't plug the fridge in because the socket fell on the on the other side of a cabinet wall. We had to arrange additional work at additional cost and time to resolve this. Not a big deal but be aware that 'installation' literally means putting the units in and nothing else, if not arranged with the builder up front.
