    After unfortunately having to cancel my kitchen renovation due to a change in circumstances and being told at most 28 working days to have the refund it has now been 32 working days now and still not been refunded have now sent an email asking for bank details. Useless customer service

    Terrible customer service. Originally we were very happy (see my previous review) but due to a change in circumstances, we decided that our budget did not allow for a new kitchen at this time. We informed Wren and were told that it would take a maximum of 28 working days to go back into our account. 28 days was yesterday and still no money. I have had to contact wren 4 times today as managers do not call you back. They have no answers. Can only apologise and tell me it should be with me soon. No idea why we haven’t received it yet and no idea when we will receive it so we are now short of just under £1500.

    Very happy and easy appointments. we were helped by mahir, he was super efficient and understanding of our currently renovations. Very good worker. Super happy with the range of options available and delivery time was way above expectations. Very happy customer. Will be returning. Also loved 0% finance for 2 years!

    My experience with Wren has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. The issues began early on when my original kitchen designer left the business. This was never communicated to me, and no replacement was arranged. I was left chasing updates until a showroom manager had to step in and complete the design. Even after that, I was assigned another designer for follow-up, yet I repeatedly had to visit the showroom in person just to get any progress or action taken. That alone set the tone for what has been a very frustrating journey. Unfortunately, things only got worse. When my kitchen units were finally delivered, several of them arrived damaged. This is completely unacceptable—I paid for brand new units, not damaged goods. Offering a partial refund does not resolve the issue. I expect to receive what I paid for: undamaged kitchen units. To make matters worse, I’ve now been told the replacements won’t arrive until 11th May, which is after my builder is due to finish. This creates further delays, added stress, and likely additional costs. We’ve already been without a kitchen for three weeks, and with young children under five, this has been incredibly difficult to manage. Overall, the lack of communication, poor coordination, and now damaged goods with delayed replacements have made this a very stressful experience. This is not what I expected when choosing Wren, and based on my experience, I would not recommend them to others.

    We wish we moved showrooms when we had the chance. Our original designer Luke was fantastic and we couldn't fault his enthusiasm and excitement in helping us design our new kitchen and utility room, unfortunately Luke moved showrooms and it appears wrens policy is that staff can't take customers with them, it wasn't until I threatened to cancel our order that we were told it can be transferred from lakeside to Basildon. After Luke left we were placed with Anna, who took at least 2 months to reach out and let us know she was now looking after our account. As with any house project, priorities change and we decided we'd take delivery of the utility room units and get that part of the house finished, despite having already designed the utility room, picked out the cupboards, doors and colours, we were then made to go back to the showroom as Anna wanted us to do exactly this again, not necessary but we agreed and booked in a slot. Upon arriving to the showroom, we were told our appointment had been moved back 15 minutes, not great but we took it as an opportunity to look at the design we was picking. After hanging around for 20 minutes in the showroom, patience wore thin, and as Anna finished up with her current appointment and waved them off, she went to collect another couple from the showroom. Unfortunately, a complete lack of communication meant we weren't told that our appointment was actually with Thomas. To Thomas's credit, once sat down the design was smooth enough, Luke had done most of the work previously, and we were booked in for a remeasure and a virtual meeting to follow up. 30 minutes before the virtual meeting, Thomas called to let me know the tech wasn't working to show us the design, something to do with our kitchen plan not loading. At this point, the fun had been completely lost and it was turning into a chore to get the room sorted. I asked Thomas to explore further discounts on our kitchen, as a result of the calamity of errors and lack of communication, he come back saying it wasn't possible and I'd need to raise a complaint. Complaint raised on the 17th of March, the automated response says they ain't to get back to you in 2 days and I'm still waiting for a response. After a few weeks of waiting, the units finally turned up last week, fitter booked in, time to get the utility room finished. Unfortunately, one of the units come with the bottom smashed to bits, another unit the door has ripped the hinges out the carcass, and it looks like another is about to do the same. Luckily my fitter managed to find a solution for the broken carcass, although to do so and continue the build, he come back on the Saturday at an additional cost of £220. I raised the issues with Thomas on Saturday who forwarded my email to the customer care team, the same team my complaint went to, who are apparently the best people to help us sort the issues, it feels like we've been brushed off time after time and that no one has wanted to deal with us since our original fitter left. I can't see us using Wren lakeside for the bigger kitchen order, and hope anyone using them is treated better than we were.
