  ★★ Stay Clear of Wren Kitchens ★★ Unfortunately, my experience with Wren Kitchens has been extremely disappointing. The kitchen looked fantastic when it was first installed, but within just six months the premium gloss black panels started developing defects across multiple areas of the kitchen. The problems are widespread and, in some locations, replacing the affected panels would require the worktops and island to be removed. We paid extra for Wren's premium range because we expected a high-quality product. In my experience, the 7-year warranty has offered little reassurance, as the process of trying to resolve these issues has been incredibly frustrating. I also found a number of other reviews from customers describing similar problems with gloss black panels, which gave me concerns that this may not be an isolated case. What has been most disappointing is how the complaint has been handled. I genuinely feel the company doesn't take complaints seriously. Despite the amount we've spent and the extent of the issues, they haven't had the decency to send someone to our home to inspect the kitchen. Instead, we've repeatedly been asked for more photographs, even though it's impossible for pictures to show the full extent of the defects. Ironically, if we wanted to buy a new kitchen, I'm sure a home visit could be arranged within 24 hours. I expected much better considering we spent around £25,000 on this kitchen. Good customer service isn't just about making the sale it's about standing behind your product when things go wrong. Sadly, that hasn't been my experience. We are now seriously considering replacing the entire kitchen, which is heartbreaking given the investment we've made and how little time we've had it. Take a look at the photos. The first signs of defects appeared after just 6 months, and now, 15 months later 80% of the panels are defective, the condition has deteriorated significantly. This is simply not what I'd expect from a premium kitchen. If you're considering buying from Wren Kitchens, I'd encourage you to do your research first.   I used Wren many years ago not long after they started up. I bought about 24 units (I was attracted as I’d had enough of flat pack and the price difference was acceptable at the time). The carcasses were white and they had solid oak shaker doors. So I dealt with the team in the North of England. They were exceptional to deal with, the product was excellent, the timescale for delivery was good and the kitchen was delivered to schedule. I was told the lorry would arrive around 1300 (with a bit of drift as they had some distance to cover; I knew their journey was in the four hours region). It’s such a great memory seeing the lorry pull into my road at 1305….perfect really. That was a good fifteen years ago. I recently moved to a new build. Very nice kitchen cupboards which extended to the Utility Room. There was an 1800mm plus space in the Utility on the wall crying out for cupboards and 600mm space on the floor for a tumble dryer, (which we don’t use). Wren had a very similar cupboard door which I don’t think they could do flat pack (I didn’t want flat if possible anyway). To get ready made you have to buy five to get the 60% discount and the full price wasn’t a lot cheaper than the ‘made in Germany 🇩🇪’ kitchen I was matching. I’ll put it down to tiredness and frustration but I finally realised I could make it five (units) by buying a 600 base and four 450 wall cupboards. Obviously it’s an expensive way to fill an 1800 wall gap but it got me the 60% discount. I went and ordered at the Swindon branch and the Wren colleague from memory was Shannon, who was very helpful (apologies if I’ve mis-recalled name - in any case the showroom lady was very pleasant and helpful). As it was a small order and probably not off the shelf (so had to be made) it didn’t have the lead time that a whole kitchen would, so was delivered very quickly. Lovely product; can’t see the difference from the German originals even though they’re next to each other. Thank you Wren for your assistance twice in my life. Long may you continue to trade and I was so pleased to see you haven’t outsourced to the far east (or anywhere else for that matter). Excuse the mess in the photos but taken during installation. The cupboard at the end of the four Wren wall units is a boiler carcass. The others are the 600 Wren base next to the original double under sink unit.

  The kitchen was incorrectly measured and designed. The worktop supplied was only 602mm deep when 640mm was required, meaning the integrated appliances would not fit. This was clearly a design error, not an installation issue. Wrongly proposed upper cabinets because the measurements of the cooker hood not correctly captured. We had asked for like for like cabinets as using existing integrated appliances. We were forced to urgently purchase replacement worktops at a cost of £690 just to complete the installation. Wren have refused to take responsibility and continue to hide behind “supply-only” terms instead of addressing the mistake. Poor service, poor communication, and a costly error — I would not recommend. In fact, stay well away.

  Provided poor quality products and are not interested in resolving the issue for customers that spend thousands of pounds with them. Won't be using again in the future. Aftercare is poor
