  We had a really mixed experience with our new Magnet kitchen. The initial design process with Tiffany was excellent. She was knowledgeable, helpful and made the planning stage straightforward and enjoyable. Unfortunately, things went downhill once the kitchen was delivered. We discovered numerous small but essential items were missing, including fixings and other components needed for installation. Trying to get these replacement parts from the branch has been a slow and frustrating process. We've had to repeatedly chase for updates, incorrect parts have been sent, and we've dealt with multiple different members of staff, making communication inconsistent. What was particularly disappointing was being told that parts had been posted a week earlier, only for them to arrive the following day with a next-day delivery label. Experiences like this left us feeling that communication wasn't always honest or transparent. While none of the issues were major individually, the cumulative effect has significantly delayed our joinery work, slowed the renovation, and postponed our ability to move back into our home. It's a real shame because the design experience started so positively, but the after-sales service has unfortunately let the overall experience down.

  🚨NEVER USE MAGNET 🚨 This has been one of the worst experiences we’ve had from start to finish. After spending thousands of pounds upfront on a kitchen from Magnet Kitchens, we expected a high-quality, professionally delivered result. What we received is not even close to satisfactory. From the outset, things were poorly handled. The initial measuring service was unreliable and required assistance, which immediately raised concerns. When the kitchen was delivered, we discovered over £1,000 worth of unnecessary stock we had been charged for, alongside multiple missing items, including handles, shelves, and cupboard doors. We then used a fitter from Magnet’s recommended list, expecting a vetted, professional standard. Instead, the installation has been shockingly poor: • Cupboards are uneven, with inconsistent gaps throughout • Units were installed starting from the wrong side of the room, leaving visible gaps against the wall • Communication was inconsistent and confusing, with different information given to me and my partner • A gas pipe was punctured during installation, which is extremely concerning • One cupboard cannot open properly without opening another, something dismissed as “the nature of the cupboard,” when it is clearly due to incorrect fitting • The island was installed in the wrong place When the fitters left, we were left with a visibly flawed kitchen. Within just two weeks, issues escalated further: - A cupboard door is already falling off - Some cupboards don’t open -The look if the final kitchen is flawed Following all of this, we contacted Magnet to resolve the situation. While we were allowed to return a small number of surplus items, the majority were simply left as a financial loss. Customer service has been dismissive and unhelpful throughout — directing us back to the fitter who isn’t interested rather than taking responsibility, despite the fitter being from their recommended network. We are now left with a kitchen that is: • Poorly fitted • Incomplete • Already deteriorating For a purchase of this value, the lack of accountability and support is unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering Magnet to think carefully before proceeding.

  We visited the Magnet Kitchens showroom in Lichfield and initially had a good impression. Helen was friendly and helpful, which made the experience seem promising. Unfortunately, everything after that was completely unacceptable. We booked a home measurement, only for it to be cancelled 45 minutes before the appointment. We were told they would be in touch to rearrange—no one bothered. After a week of silence, we had to chase them ourselves to book another date. Amazingly, the exact same thing happened again. Another last-minute cancellation, this time just over an hour before the appointment. Two wasted days, zero communication, and no accountability. If they can’t organise something as basic as attending a pre-booked appointment—twice—there is no way I would trust them to manage and deliver a full kitchen project. Very poor service and a complete waste of time.
