  I bought a 4 litre can of Creosolve on Tuesday and have just bought another one today but the price had increased by 15% in 2 days.Is this a clear case of profiteering???

  My door latch broke, so I went into this shop to buy a replacement and showed the guy exactly what I needed. He didn’t even properly check — just said they don’t have it and told me to go to B&Q instead. When I checked their website later, they had multiple versions of the same latch advertised online. So clearly he either didn’t know what he was doing or couldn’t be bothered to help. Complete waste of my time. I ended up buying it next door from Screwfix with no issues. Hire staff who actually want to do their job
