  Very disappointed with my experience at Toolstation. Yesterday, I specifically asked a team member for a nail gun that could use 32mm nails. The staff member gave me the wrong product, and I trusted their advice and bought it. When I checked it properly, I realised it was not suitable for what I had clearly asked for. Today, I went back to the Toolstation Colindale branch to exchange it for the correct item. I was not asking for a refund I simply wanted to change this brand new item for the right one. However, the staff refused to exchange it and just told me, “We can’t do this.” They also claimed it had been used, even though I explained that I had not used it. The issue is not only being given the wrong product, but also the poor customer service and unwillingness to help fix a mistake. Customers rely on staff advice, and I expected much better service. Very frustrating experience and disappointing treatment.

  I had a fantastic experience at Toolstation in Colindale. The staff, especially Diya and Kishan, were incredibly polite, professional, and knowledgeable about the products. They took the time to listen attentively to my needs and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The service was outstanding, and I felt well taken care of throughout my visit. I highly recommend this store for anyone looking for great customer service and a wide range of high-quality products. Definitely one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had!

  I dealt with a member of staff named Lydia who was very cheerful and extremely helpful. My experience of this branch is the staff are excellent and I would definitely go back.

  I visited this store today because my builder needed a list of things I know absolutely nothing about so I was a little apprehensive but needn’t have been! I was served quickly and very politely by a gentleman named Paul and luckily for me, he was very knowledgeable too! He advised me on the best things to purchase and my builder was very happy with what I bought so a huge thank you to Paul! Fantastic service and I will be visiting again.
