We purchased a kitchen from Wren along with their approved installation service, expecting a professionally managed and coordinated experience. Unfortunately, the reality was extremely disappointing and became a stressful, drawn-out process lasting months beyond the supposed “completion” date. The kitchen installation itself felt rushed and lacked attention to detail throughout. We experienced numerous snagging and workmanship issues, including unfinished areas, poor finishing, exposed edges, excess silicone, alignment concerns, loose/misaligned components and visible defects throughout the installation. Even basic finishing standards were poor, with dirt and debris left behind, including significant dirt build-up left on top of the integrated washing machine and additional cleaning required throughout the kitchen before it could even be properly used. Following completion, I then had to arrange my own electrician to investigate issues with the extractor fan and kitchen electrics. The electrician identified problems including the extractor cable having been left too long and interfering with the fan mechanism, alongside an incorrect 13 amp fuse being fitted which required replacement. Additional electrical works/checks were also required after the kitchen had supposedly been completed. One of the most frustrating aspects was the handling of supplementary works and installer conduct. Despite paying substantial additional installation/supplementary costs, concerns were repeatedly dismissed as being “between the customer and installer” rather than properly coordinated or resolved. I also raised concerns directly with the installer regarding additional tiling costs and unresolved issues, however these were not dealt with appropriately. The complaints process itself became exhausting. I repeatedly had to provide the same evidence, invoices, photographs and explanations to multiple different people within Wren, despite this information already having been supplied earlier in the process. Internal communication between teams appeared very poor, resulting in constant repetition, delays and further frustration. Whilst Wren eventually agreed to carry out a small number of remedial works, much of the experience felt focused on minimising responsibility rather than properly acknowledging the overall level of disruption, remedial work, inconvenience and additional costs incurred following the installation. Overall, the experience fell far below what I expected when spending a significant amount of money on a new kitchen and installation service. The kitchen design itself is nice, but the installation quality, aftercare and complaint handling unfortunately left a lot to be desired. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering Wren carefully researches both the installation process and approved installers beforehand.

For god's sake don't use their installers!!! A week's work is what I was promised. I'm into month 4 and currently waiting for an electrician who is at the minute 4 hours late. I have wasted 5 days annual leave in the past. I have had several unanswered messages and lots of broken promises. After asking Wren to help I got a reply saying they can't get an answer and "we kindly request that you directly liaise with the tradesperson you have contracted for the supplementary works" along with "Please be advised that the works in question are supplementary works, and are outside of the scope of the Wren Installation" pretty much saying it has nothing to do with us. I've had electrical problems and the plumber left a pipe open so water was just flooding straight downstairs. Holes were also left in the wall which I ended up filling myself and Wren do not want to listen nor do anything. I've even asked for contact details for someone to officially complain to and got nothing. Don't waste you time or hard earned money with them.

DO NOT USE THE COMPANY! Me and the wife cashed in a pension to get a new kitchen in the back end of last year. I'm disabled so they promised me it would be fitted in 4 days, 6 WEEKS later it was still not complete and the fitter damaged walls and appliances. Fast forward 3 months 4 drops of water splashed out a pan and onto the worktop and instantly melted through the veneer! After complaining about this several times the kept saying that it was my fault and not covered in my warranty, I informed them that I was claiming under the consumer rights act which supercedes any warranty but the robot at the other end of the computer couldn't comprehend that. I have now taken it to the ombudsman and will pursue a repair in the small claims court if I have to. Please please use anyone else to get your new kitchen.
