Avoid Magnet if you want to protect yourself from financial loss, stress and a completely disorganised process. Especially Joe the manager, we wish we had seen the reviews about him earlier.
Our experience has been awful. We are in the middle of a house renovation and, two weeks before the delivery date, we found out that Magnet were expecting us to receive a kitchen when the house was absolutely not ready for installation.
Throughout the process, our understanding was that the kitchen would only be sent into production after final measurements, final drawings and proper approval. Our designer even came on site shortly before this issue came to light, which makes it even more ridiculous that Magnet are now claiming the kitchen had already been authorised for production. We received a few emails regarding the order and upcoming delivery, since these are automated emails our designer confirmed it was just an error and nothing to worry about.
They are now trying to say that we approved the order going into production, but they have not provided any signed final drawings, signed production documents, or proper written proof that we approved the final kitchen for production. The date they appear to rely on is impossible, as we were on holiday and building work in the house had not even started.
Now they are trying to hide behind their terms and conditions, saying that paying a deposit automatically means the kitchen can be sent into production. In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable. Paying a deposit should not automatically mean that final drawings, final measurements and production approval are confirmed without clear communication and signed documents.
Customer service has been useless. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable solution, they have continued to blame us and pressure us to accept delivery of a kitchen before the property is ready. We are talking about Magnet to cover 100/200 pounds for 1/2 weeks of storage while they would give us time to get the space ready for the installation.
Our experience with the Archway store, especially towards the end of the process, has been extremely stressful and disappointing. We felt unsupported, misled and pushed into a situation that should never have happened.
I would strongly advise people to stay away from Magnet, especially if you are doing a renovation and need a company that communicates clearly and takes responsibility when things go wrong.

Avoid. Very poor delivery and post payment servicing (ignored calls, delays etc). All reviews about Joe are correct. Very money minded and zero customer care.
But if really still want to use Magnet - use another branch with friendlier people.

At the moment, our Archway store doesn't have its own parking. Don't worry, though! Even without on-site parking, there are plenty of handy options right around the corner, depending on what you need.
