  Avoid.. seriously avoid. I had a in-store design appt on 25th April 2026. When I arrived to the store and showed the salesperson the images of my current kitchen, she immediately said "this looks like a council kitchen", she then proceeded to give her unsolicited views of the council and what should/shouldn’t be there. Overall irrelevant but she kept on throughout the appointment. The salesperson also assumed my budget was £5000 without asking me. My budget was £13,000. You have to write what your budget is when you book the appointment online so she didn’t check, just assumed I wanted a dirt cheap kitchen because it’s in a council property. It was established that a proper measuring needed to be done at the property as my measurements were slightly off. Salesperson asked for my postcode, information already provided in the booking. She then asked me the following: What is the nearest train station What tube line is that on What area is that in Is there a bus that goes there It was honestly torturous talking to this woman. Please bear in mind that the appointment was nearly 2 hours. 2 hours of this. One thing that was deeply concerning and needs to be investigated is the pricing. In the store, she mentioned that she knew a kitchen supplier who might be cheaper than if I were to get installation services through Magnet, she proceeded to give me their business card and said "tell him I sent you". Once she had priced up the quote with installation, it was around £11,000 which I was happy with. When I got home, she emailed me to say that she had made a mistake pricing the Magnet installation and now the full quote is £15,000. This was a lie in my opinion. She bumped up the installation price so I would be likely to go with her friend that she recommended. So so wrong. I ended up going with Wren, only because of this experience. Magnet have better kitchens but the incompetence and deceit is just something I can’t get on board with. Proceed with caution.

  Avoid like the plague - DO NOT KNOW HOW THEY SURVIVE THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. Extremely disappointing experience with this Magnet store. I provided photos of my 2014 kitchen and was advised that the current doors would match, without being clearly told my original range had been discontinued. After delivery, I opened one door purely to compare and immediately discovered it did not match. Despite this being based on the store’s advice, a refund has been refused for the opened door. I have also received no proof that the partial refund they claim to have issued was ever processed, nor clarity on the amount being withheld. Head office has now stopped responding, yet still suggested I return to the store. Most staff were polite, but the handling of this situation by the store manager was the worst customer service I have experienced. A very frustrating and disappointing process from start to finish. I will not be returning. Avoid avoid it should be shut down as a store

  We visited the Greenwich Magnet store to get some ideas on our kitchen design. Dionne was super helpful. She answered all our questions and gave us ample time, even though she wasn't our kitchen designer. We appreciate all the help Dionne has given us and for making our experience with Magnet outstanding. Thank you Dionne.
