  From start to finish, Venus at the Balham branch has been fantastic. She gave great advice, was responsive and engaging and worked hard to develop a design and organise delivery in a tight deadline. I would happily recommend others to use Magnet Balham - they compared very favourably to my experience with their local competitors.

  Fairly terrible customer service....avoid if you can. Met with Magnet (and several other kitchen manufacturers) in January to begin prepping a new kitchen install. Placed a £300 deposit to secure their 50% off special, with the promise that it would be refunded if we decided not to go ahead. Updated our plans several times with staff throughout the spring, but ultimately decided to go with Howden's as they were 1) £4k cheaper, 2) had 1-day turnaround time for delivery 3) had a few other cabinet features that Magnet didn't have which we liked more. Emailed and called Magnet on 1st June to request refund back. Was told it would be sent by check in the mail (?!?!) within 2-3 weeks... Called on June 25th to follow-up and was told the check would be sent imminently. I then started receiving delivery texts from their carrier to arrange a delivery date for our kitchen?! Called Magnet today and was told the check would arrive in another 10 working days. And was told that the texts were errors.. When I asked to speak to the manager to complain about this delay, John, descended into a fit of rage on the call, resorting to name calling and accusations that I had intentionally "used Magnet" for kitchen designs with no intentions of ever purchasing from them. He also claimed I lied about emailing and calling them on 1st June, and claimed he never knew about the refund, then claimed it was out of his control. Then admitted that his staff person had left and dropped the ball on this (never apologized for the delay of holding my £300 for 7 weeks). It was a fairly surreal call where he seemed to be personally offended that I chose another kitchen fitter instead of Magnet, and resorted to childish name-calling and yelling instead of handling the matter in a calm and professional matter. Ultimately, seems like the administration is pretty abysmal and things fall through the cracks pretty easily if you dont keep on top of them. Seems like a common theme with others who have complained. Cant speak about the kitchens themselves, but would be very nervous to order anything through them now this has happened.

  We had an excellent experience with Magnet Balham Shop. After researching quite a bit on one of our visits to the Balham shop, Jon gave us good ideas to maximize the space of our kitchen. We had minor problems during the process but they were efficiently solved by Corisha, Tenisha, Jed and Saji (they always return your calls). They really went out of their way to help us and make things happen for us when we needed them to! I would strongly recommend to have your kitchen done at Magnet Balham and the staff are very respectful and friendly. Thank you!
