- ESEsther SteelOct 23, 20252.0We’re delighted with the quality and finish of our new Magnet kitchen — the workmanship itself is excellent, and the final result looks beautiful. However, the fitting process was much more difficult than we expected. Communication was poor at times, and the whole process took over seven weeks from start to finish. While the kitchen was useable for much of that period, the delays and need to chase remedial actions made it stressful. A week and a half into the build — when it really should have been nearing completion — I came back to the house and cried at the mess. To their credit, things were sorted after that, but it shouldn’t have been so hard to get there. I chose Magnet because of a previous positive experience with the Blackburn branch, but this time it didn’t live up to expectations. We’re still waiting for a replacement internal drawer front. Overall, we love the kitchen itself, but I would think carefully before using Magnet again.
