    Customer Avoidance Training (CAT) Clearly a Success I’m not sure whether staff are currently trialling a Customer Avoidance Tool (CAT), but if they are, it’s working brilliantly. I counted five members of staff either sitting around or casually walking past the counter, and not one of them asked if I was being served. Impressive levels of commitment to non-engagement. It took a full five minutes before someone finally approached me. To be fair, once they did, the service was great. Just saying, that’s all.
