MKM Gloucester offered an incredible price on decking timber, easily some of the best value around. The treated timber itself is excellent quality, so you're not just saving money, you're getting a great product too. The customer service was brilliant throughout, but a special shoutout has to go to the driver. I'm on a new build site, which isn't always the easiest to find, but he located me with no problems at all. Chatty, friendly, and an absolute credit to the team. Top it all off with prompt next day delivery and honestly, I can't fault a single thing. Best place around for building supplies. I won't be going anywhere else. Highly recommended!

I have only been using this branch for the last year as a local builder, but my recent experience has left me unwilling to return. I visited to discuss the price of some slabs I found online at a much lower cost. Rather than having a professional discussion or considering a price match, the staff member, Scott, was rude and dismissive, simply telling me to “buy them online.” Later, a customer called to see if any reduction was possible and spoke to the same person. Again, she was told to buy online and was warned that there won’t be a refund if damaged or a replacement — despite Scott not even knowing which online company the price was from. This level of service is completely unacceptable. After supporting this branch over the past year, I will not be using them again.
