Howdens supplies products, we do not fit. The only fitting service we have is for solid surfaces. Your local depot can help you with finding someone if you don't know where to start.

Do you offer finance?

Howdens is a trade-only business so any purchases or quotes need to be made via a tradesperson with a Howdens account. Therefore all payment terms will need to be discussed with your tradesperson.

Lamona Appliance Support

We have a network of more than 80 independent service engineers positioned locally across the UK to support us with Lamona appliance repairs. This covers devices that are within the warranty period and those that are outside of guarantee. Contact your local depot to learn more or to arrange a repair service.

Unfortunately we have had a very disappointing experience with a Howdens Elmbridge kitchen. The designer did not measure from floor to ceiling and, as a result, the kitchen did not fit. The position of the boiler was also not measured so this did not fit in the cupboard and, as a result, the boiler has had to be moved. At the point at which it became clear that the boiler measurements were wrong, instead of accepting that there had been a mistake and outdated measurements had been used, the designer remained insistent that the old boiler had still been in place when she took the measurements, which was not the case. The general approach was to pass blame for everything onto either myself or the fitter, with Howdens seeking to absolve themselves of responsibility. The depot suggested to the fitter on multiple occasions that Howdens' errors could be rectified using, in effect, poor quality workmanship. Because the fitter takes pride in his work unlike Howdens, it would appear, he was not prepared to go ahead with these. What was particularly upsetting was the way in which the depot gave information verbally and later denied this when it suited them. The fitter says that this is the most difficulty he has ever had with a kitchen installation. Despite having decided to source the worksurface from elsewhere because of all of these issues, I still have an invoice for an aborted templating appointment charge of £318.52 under dispute. We were planning to source two more kitchens from Howdens but are now considering other options.

I have been a carpenter for over 35 years now and I can honesty say this is the worst company I have dealt with. When Howdens first came on the scene people in the building game chould get a kitchen for a good price but now they will sell a kitchen for as much as they can depending on who you are. They sold a kitchen direct to a previous customer of mine when my accountant was closed and had a password in place, was told I would be looked after because of this incident, nothing yet full of broken promises useless now use a local diy store instead better service and better price. Thank you for forwarding it on to the branch good job I didn't hold my breath for a response as haven't heard anything as expected, keep well clear from this branch disgrace.
