Firstly the contractor they sent in was horrible, he was a bully and reneged on part of the agreement we had made, on the other hand his team were very nice. They re-plastered the kitchen and told us to paint it before they installed the kitchen, which we did, they then proceeded to gouge holes out of the walls when they put the work surfaces in. The guy who sold us the kitchen promised us that he would come and fix the walls himself and we paid the balance of the bill based on this promise. It's nearly a year later and he still hasn't come despite lots of correspondence and more promises. Eventually we got fed up and got a quote from a decorator. Magnet have only agreed to pay 50% of the bill for reasons that are not entirely clear to me. We decided to accept their offer so that we never have to deal with them again. We're feeling pretty bruised by our experience and do not recommend them. Our kitchen is okay, the fridge wasn't properly installed and they have been back a couple of times to fix that problem.
