Wren Bedrooms - Disastrous Sales Service
Wren Bedrooms Colchester, Essex, especially the Mobile Design section - the home visits for measurements & design is disastrous. Shane and Joseph from the Colchester Mobile Design came to my place to measure & design my 3 bedrooms. Nothing much could be done, from their perspectives, for the master bedroom, and the spare bedroom. A decent design was offered for, the remaining, guest bedroom. Shane came late and unprepared, devices failing half way through his design.
Kara - the store manager called, apologised and sent Joseph for a re-do of the home visit, and was offered a £200 voucher. After all sorts of other errors, I accepted an offer from Joseph, during my follow-up visit to the showroom.
His sales skills are so inefficient that he failed to mention the validity of the offer, NEVER sent an email or made a call to remind of the timeframe left for the offer. I presumed that after the initial disaster home visit this would be a standing offer, and all efforts would be made to seal the deal and keep this customer happy.
In the meantime I reached out to another Wren employee from the Kitchen section to make a phone appointment with Joseph to pay the deposit, as Joseph disappeared and did not engage with me anymore, but supposedly it was too late. Instead of accepting the deposit on the initial offer, he made another, higher offer on the same bedroom.
I will make one last effort to transfer my business to Wren Ipswich, as Wren Colchester is AWFUL, badly run & managed; but if this fails I am giving up on Wren. I suggest people stay away from their tactics, they will engage mainly with the demographics that they like.

We are having Wren Kitchens provide our new kitchen for us to fit ourselves. The service we have had so far has been excellent and our designer, Sam Richfield has been very patient, helpful and professional through out. He even came in on his day off to sort out some changes we had made. It is an awkward kitchen. We now await the delivery of the kitchen mid September. Thanks again.

After researching the kind of kitchen we wanted, we found that Wren could supply what we needed. I had already had a good experience with an excellent designer for a different project, not in my own home.
However, on our first visit to the showroom, we were introduced to our designer and, to be honest, was not over-impressed. He gave us virtually no eye contact and was more intent on just using the software to "fill the space" and didn't suggest any "extras" that would have enhanced our kitchen, i.e, different options for the interiors of various cupboards or drawer units. He did not pay attention to detail such as lining up the various units to make a pleasing look, we had to point this out to him. He did not talk us through his design but just kept clicking, there was minimal interaction. Was this because we were planning to install the kitchen ourselves?
When our order was delivered, we were expected to unpack every box within a few days in order to check everything was as it should be. This is impractical bearing in mind that the boxes virtually filled our dining room and half the lounge. When we got to one box that had a sticker to show it had been checked, we discovered there was no door. How did that pass inspection, I wonder.
Having said all this, the customer services did resolve the issue, but not before several phone calls.
We are pleased with the quality of the product.
