A wide range of items can be recycled at Household Waste Recycling Sites, including textiles, electricals, hard plastics and wood. Some sites also have facilities for carpets and mattress recycling. Visit the website to check what you can take here to recycle or dispose of.
Please sort your waste before you take it to the household waste recycling site. The bag sorting is in placeto maximise recycling. With your help we can recycle more.
Sites are closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, but open all other holiday periods, and will close at 4pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve
The sites are operated by FCC Environment on behalf of the council.
