- SGShirley GrieveFeb 12, 20265.0I recently went with my son, to the Corstorphine, Edinburgh branch of Magnet, where we worked with Cindy Dennis to design and buy a new kitchen. We’d been to several competitors beforehand for design consultations and the moment we walked away from our first meeting with Cindy, we both knew we wanted to keep working with her. It wasn’t just that she could answer our questions and accommodate our needs, her suggestions, thoughts and experience made us think about things we otherwise wouldn’t have. It didn’t feel like working with someone trying to sell us a kitchen, it felt like working with someone who actually cared about how we would feel about our new kitchen at the end of the day. The range of kitchens, cabinet designs, colours and worktops on display in the store was good and we found a combination we were happy with fairly easily. Significant sales and promotions are common at Magnet, and we were also very happy at the price we ultimately paid for our new kitchen. That includes the optional integrated appliances, all of which were from well known and trusted brands. We’ve already recommended the Corstorphine branch to family and friends and writing a review, which I don’t normally do, felt like a no brainer. If you’re in the market for a new kitchen, I would highly recommend at the very least going in for a look and a design consultation.

Cabinets were nice, and installation was passable, but the finer details were botched. After-sales service from magnet was non-existent. And it wasn't cheap either! Avoid magnet like the plague.
