I highly recommend using MKM in Llandudno Junction for your joinery supplies. I have just spent most of this week visiting the depot for a house restoration I am working on with a few local builders. Really helpful and very knowledgeable. A+++++

Went yesterday for a bag of sand. I did go to the wrong side of the business initially where they sell tools, timber etc. Stood there for several minutes. There were five members of the staff sitting at desks, but not one got up to attend. Pathetic and blatantly ignorant behaviour. I would never use this branch again. I did go to the heavy side to get my sand where I was attended to far quicker.

Very disappointing experience with MKM Llandudno Junction. I placed an order for a client and the order was initially lost. I was then told that they would work out the price and contact the client directly, but they never did. The client eventually had to contact them himself, only to be told that they had no record of the order. After this was eventually sorted, we were given a delivery date, but the order didn’t arrive. When I contacted them to find out what was happening, I was told they didn’t have the bags required for the extractor and therefore couldn’t complete the order until later in the week. Again, nobody had bothered to inform us of the delay. When the timber finally arrived, the quality was extremely disappointing. A large proportion was sapwood and several lengths were split, so I had to request replacements. I’ve just been to collect the replacement timber. There should have been three lengths ready for collection, but only two were there. On top of that, the timber was supposed to be machined with a bevel, which had been specifically requested, but this hadn’t been done either. For a professional trade supplier, I would expect much better communication, organisation and quality control. The amount of time I’ve had to spend chasing the order, arranging replacements and correcting mistakes has been completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would be very reluctant to use MKM Llandudno Junction again.

Bought no end of timber from this place, wouldn't go anywhere else. Staff always very obliging and friendly - and free delivery too!
