Yes, we offer a free kitchen design service where our expert designers can help to visualise your ideas into a 3D plan. This service is available at depots and can be booked through our website.

Howdens supplies products, we do not fit. The only fitting service we have is for solid surfaces. Your local depot can help you with finding someone if you don't know where to start.

Where can I view Howdens prices?

The final price for the supply and installation of a kitchen is agreed between the homeowner and their trade professional. This may include additional costs, such as labour, transport, or a commission. We remain impartial to these discussions and are not responsible for the final price. Balancing budget with design is important, which is why we also offer trade professionals a price match promise on any like-for-like kitchen or door quotes. Do you offer finance?

Howdens is a trade-only business so any purchases or quotes need to be made via a tradesperson with a Howdens account. Therefore all payment terms will need to be discussed with your tradesperson.

How do I open a trade account?

Do you have any showrooms?

We have three showrooms across the UK: one located in Raunds, another at our head office in Howden, and a third in Watford; we also have 800+ Howdens depots around the country where members of the public can view any ranges, products, and samples. Free Home Survey Service

A home survey is included within our free kitchen design service. One of our design specialists from your local Howdens depot will visit your property to take measurements, evaluate the space, and determine the best layout, style and design.

Lamona Appliance Support

We have a network of more than 80 independent service engineers positioned locally across the UK to support us with Lamona appliance repairs. This covers devices that are within the warranty period and those that are outside of guarantee. Contact your local depot to learn more or to arrange a repair service.

Online Account Management

Trade customers can access their depot 24/7. Simply log into your Online Trade Account to manage invoices, make payments and view your account balance. You can also view prices, check local stock and order items to collect at depot with Anytime Ordering.

Very high pressure sales tactics after you're interested in making a purchase. Lacey was unresponsive to a lot of our queries - both before and after sales. After receiving a discount, her boss Anthony was more than happy to throw his staff under the bus - making comments that they need to be retrained, and that not even his best customers get such a good discount, etc. Absolutely terrible leadership from him, I must say. Kitchen is pretty good quality, but sullied by all these customers service issues.

We recently purchased a few items for our kitchen (plinths, cabinet and two wine racks). Unfortunately, when we took them home, they were not a colour match, so we decided to return them. We managed to return a few of the items without any problem, but they would not accept the wine racks because they had been unwrapped. Firstly, we were told that we could not return them because we had not brought the original packaging, but they would be accepted if we did. So we went home to try to retrieve it (a plastic wrap with the label) so we could return them. When we returned to the branch, we were told that we could not return them because they had not been packaged as original (wrapped in the plastic) and they would not accept them (although we had been told previously they would). The units were intact, just unwrapped because we needed to see if they matched with the rest of the units or not. The manager's words were: "it is not my fault that you have ordered the wrong colour, is it?" It is if you do not provide any samples that we can take home to check before making the order. It is if the colours of the items are completely different to the catalogue (the natural oak colour does not look like in the catalogue, by far). It is if the only way we can check the colour match is by unwrapping the item. We purchased the items under sale, which, if they were to be resold out of sale can even make more profit for the branch. We even offered to accept only 50% refund. But the manager would not accept any room for negotiation. His response was: "we barely sell any of those wine racks". It is funny that a few minutes earlier, another colleague was trying to find our order and said that they had sold many wine racks in the last couple of weeks. When we pointed this out to him, his response was an accusatory question: “Who said that?” A little effort would have made the whole experience a pleasant one and made us to come back in the future. But the manager clearly did not want to help at all and what was a sale of a couple of hundred pounds will amount to more, since we will NOT be choosing Howdens for our full kitchen renovation and we will be telling EVERYONE to stay away from the Leckwith branch and its manager. One last thing, when we shared the experience with other people (including trade people) we had a common response: “Yeah, Howdens are letting themselves down lately”. So I can conclude that it was not an isolated occurrence.
