- LALaura AlboniMay 16, 20265.0I’m currently renovating my kitchen and, after visiting three other major kitchen retailers, I honestly thought they were all much the same — until I met Nick at the Newmarket branch of Wickes. What an incredible experience. My appointment was meant to last an hour, but Nick gave me so much of his time, patience and expertise without ever making me feel rushed. He went above and beyond to help me create the perfect kitchen, thinking of details I would never even have considered myself. He cleverly maximised every inch of space without leaving awkward gaps or using fillers, and even suggested using a slightly curved unit near the window to bring more light into the room — such a thoughtful idea. He also spent ages checking appliance specifications on Bosch, AEG and other websites to make sure I chose the best appliances. I have genuinely never experienced customer service like it. Nick is incredibly knowledgeable, talented, patient and kind, and he made what felt like a stressful renovation become exciting and enjoyable. An absolute credit to Wickes — I cannot recommend him highly enough.
