  Wren kitchens keep trying to sell us quartz worktops. They keep telling us they have them at sale prices. They keep telling us they are beautiful. In reality they are not beautiful. Quartz worktop manufacturing causes an incurable lung disease. Scientific evidence proves that no amount of health and safety or PPE can guarantee the safety of the staff manufacturing these worktops. Look at Sky news, bbc news and YouTube and watch the videos and read the statements of thousands of grieving families all due to quartz worktops. Google 'health related issues connected to quartz worktops' and see for yourself. There is nothing beautiful about quartz worktops.

  If you're purchasing a kitchen through Wren, just be aware that appliances will cost you a fortune to be fitted, this isn't included in the fitting of the kitchen (even if you purchase all new appliances through them). Also, their fitters will come out and rip you off as they will cost up any electrics which might need moving, we got quoted an extra £2,000 to fit the hob, oven, fridge freezer, washer, sink and to move 2 plug sockets!! the fitter also charged £100 for two holes to be cut out of the sink for the taps! Wren also conveniently added an instant boiling tap (which we did not order), so I had to go through the plan very carefully and then decided not to sign their contract after the fitter charged an extra £2,000 ontop of the £16,000 kitchen. Be careful and ask what will cost you extra. At no point did they mention appliances will cost extra to be fitted.

  The worst experience we've ever had with any organisation we went into store to buy a bespoke fitted bedroom for our daughter. As soon as the design was done in store and the money paid the whole process has been a disgrace. No delivery dates no install dates failed installs no communication being passed form one long phone queue to another - no one taking any responsibility. no after sales support the designer had, for some reason, split our order into 2, their external installers wouldn't install the 2nd part. Being told we need to liaise with the installers ourself (we paid for a fitted bedroom its not our job to manage joiners) This company don't care - they took the money and fobbed us off. As soon as the store make the sale they literally tell you its nothing to do with them and give you an 0800 number to call. Ive taken a few days off work now to be here for install and delivery and sat there and nothing happened. we are now 2 weeks past promised install date, no one to speak to, no dates, just a string of calls where we've been on hold for hours trying to get someone to help. I know they'll reply to this saying their management team will be in touch - that's the problem - they dont care.

  I brought from wren for my kitchen. When I purchased my kitchen I got told that everything was covered. But my cabinets have began to peel and it is not accidental damage. Yet when I contacted wren they told me it was not covered even though it had not been accidental damage from my end. They told me i will have to buy new cabinets. I am hugely disappointed. When purchasing from them. I even told them about my previous bad experience with a company for my kitchen and they reassured me and said that this would not be the case with them as they are number one and priorise their customers. I also brought cabinets in a special colour which when they got damage, they said that they cannot provide the same colour anymore which is a shame. I am very disappointed and upset as I paid a lot of money and was told something very different at the start compared to now. I am also very disappointed because the cabinets do not have longevity and quality as advertised.

  Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Ongoing Issues We chose Wren Kitchens Bolton with high expectations, but the experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. Our kitchen installation was scheduled for 5th January. The installer arrived, removed everything, and immediately identified a design issue. That was the start of a nightmare. The redesign process was slow, confusing, and required constant chasing from our side. We selected a specific design, yet Wren sent replacement parts that did not match what we chose. Despite raising this multiple times, we received no meaningful follow‑up from Wren. A second installer eventually worked with whatever parts were available and completed the kitchen on 26th January, but even now we are still chasing Wren. We are still missing parts, and because of the redesign mismatch, we have extra items sitting in our home, taking up space while we wait for Wren to collect them. We were told a solution was “on the way”, but after two emails and one phone call, we have had no response at all. Mistakes can happen — that’s not the issue. The real problem is the complete lack of customer care. Once they have your money, it feels like you’re left on your own. Reading other reviews, it seems we are not the only ones experiencing this decline in service. Very disappointed and still waiting for Wren to resolve the outstanding issues. Update: We did get the kitchen completed, but still no efficient communication from wren. Have sent improper size of cutlery tray twice and at last I asked for reimbursement but no response. Complete silence after they got kitchen completion certificate. No reply even to collect the goods they delivered of wrong size multiple times. And no word about compensation which they said they would provide for the delay in work.
