4th December 2024 - I now have a response from customer services 10 months after the event asking me to e-mail them.
Kind of missed the point...
So, I would have agreed with many of the other reviews on here scoring around 4 stars, however, this was up until the point that there was a problem.
If you have a problem with any of the appliances fitted, Magnet are not interested and take quite some pushing before they intervene.
We had an issue with one appliance that was faulty and we needed the replacement before Christmas, but it wasn’t going to be ready. After lots of calls whereby we had to do the running, we were given what we thought was a great solution by the manager who suggested that they install one of their showroom appliances in the mean time. Despite the difficulties, it felt like we had an excellent temporary solution, however……
We have been chasing the High Wycombe store for well over a week to find out when our new appliance would be fitted to replace the temporary one. The manager finally responded today (23rd January) to our e-mail on the 9th January, to say that he couldn’t approve the new appliance because the replacement pre-Christmas was the permanent solution.
There is no way we would have accepted this pre-Christmas. Why would we accept a showroom appliance as a permanent solution?
If you are problem free, these guys will do a job for you. The second you have a problem, they couldn’t care less.
I will update this review further based on the response to my e-mail back to them today.
By the way, even their installer thought it was a temporary solution as they had to make a modification to our cupboard so that the temporary appliance fitted properly.
So, it’s now Saturday 27th January and I e-mailed High Wycombe store on Tuesday in response to the daft e-mail from the manager. Still no response.
We got a response on the 27th telling us that we have basically got it all wrong and misunderstood what happened before Christmas.
I responded on the 30th saying that we appreciated the short-term fix in December, but it never would have been acceptable as a final solution.
No response so far and I have now had to call head office to see if they can make any sense of things.

Really impressed with Magnet kitchen customer service of late. We bought a kitchen with them three years ago which we have been very pleased with. Recently I was looking for an additional shelf for our larder cupboard. They quickly and efficiently provided one for me which fits perfectly. Maria was particularly helpful.
