  We would like to recommend to anyone who is looking for an excellent contractor to consider using Currahee Home Builders. They recently completed a whole home remodel on our residence on Lake Keowee in South Carolina. The project was completed on time, within budget, and came out beautiful. The credit goes to Laura and Steve who took the time up front to plan, organize, and schedule all the activities which were required to achieve the goals laid out. That included several pre-start visits by them and the various subs (electrical, plumbing, flooring, painters, cabinets makers, tile installers etc.). That activity concluded with the development of an accurate budget which as noted above came in as estimated. That effort also allowed for a solid timetable to be developed which also worked out perfectly. With the amount of work that was required, we needed to move to temporary housing during the construction work. The timing of the project was very important to us. They planned 3 months and lined up all their subs and in-house labor accordingly to complete the project on time so we could be back in our home enjoying all the upgrades and high quality of work performed by them. Like most projects, several changes had to be dealt with as well as unexpected issues were encountered during construction. The Currahee team didn’t flinch, handled the issues, and just worked through each item as it arose and moved forward keeping the project on time. In summary, the commitment to customer satisfaction, the professionalism by the Currahee team, and the management of the project gets a 5-star rating. If you’re looking for a re-model as we did, I recommend you contact them. They also build new homes, and we firmly believe that everything mentioned above would carry over to that kind of project.   We have lived in our Currahee built home for a year and a half. They have always been available. Danny has paid close attention to detail and has always responded in an acceptable and timely manner. We love our home and are very glad to have found it.

  Though I am not currently in the market to build, I have worked closely with Currahee Home Builders for a year and a half. I can attest to their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to give the customer exactly what they want! From their beautiful architecture & design, to the spacious lots and communities where they build, Currahee Home Builders is the ONLY home builder I'd consider doing work with. And if it weren't for the commitment of this wonderful company, Devon Gales would not be moving into a brand new, handicap accessible home. EVERYONE should check them out!!!

  I used Currahee Home Builders to convert a freestanding garage to a bunkhouse with bathroom and seating area. The fact that I was not going to be on site daily because I lived an hour and half away gave me pause. This project couldn't have gone smoother. Mark was great and always available to talk with me when I had questions. The subs they used were of the highest quality and I am EXTREMELY picky. They were able to finish on budget which was a first in any projects I have worked on. I highly recommend Currahee Home Builders if you are looking for a builder that is detail oriented and willing to go the extra mile to make the customer happy!
