- ZBZachary BurkeApr 30, 20241.0Do not buy Trane products. If you have any issues with your unit, they will leave you holding the bill. I got a brand new unit only a few years ago and had it serviced like clockwork, but when I started having issues, my service provider pointed to a leak in the coils that could only be a manufacturer defect. Next I find that the whole issue is going to cost me over $2000 and Trane takes no responsibility for the service provider replacing the part. Not only that, they didn’t to so much as bother to inquire with my service provider as to the nature of the problem or to look at any of the service records. They simply told me they aren’t responsible for those costs. Trane customer service has made it abundantly clear that this isn’t their problem, they don’t care to look at it, they barely care to take the time to respond to their customers, and you’re on your own.
