The Construction Resources family of businesses was born in 1970 when Fred E. Hires Sr. and his partners opened Atlanta Marble Mfg. in Decatur, GA. For the next 26 years, the company grew with cultured marble as its only product offering. Fred’s sons, Mitch and Sonny Hires, grew up working in the business and in 1996, purchased their father’s partners’ interest in the company. They saw an opportunity to diversify their products and immediately expanded into kitchen countertops. The company’s success led to other complementary design and construction products, including flooring under CR’s legacy brand Builders Floor Covering & Tile, now CR Flooring.

- NTnancy tardoAug 23, 20235.0After searching for recommendations for the “best carpet/runner” seller & installer in Atlanta I decided to go to CR Flooring & found the perfect carpet for my stairs AND their amazing installer. Turnaround from purchase to completion was 1 week & I couldn’t be happier with the result! Most importantly is the customer service i received-I’ve come to believe it rarely exists but the employees at CR are phenomenal! I was helped quickly & thoroughly (never left to feel ignored) & from start to finish the ladies were amazing! The only negative is on me-why didn’t I go there 1st??? I purchased my flooring from them 3 years ago & had the same wonderful experience. Nowadays when customer service is pretty much nonexistent I can’t say enough about my experiences with CR Flooring’s employees & their quality of materials too. Skip ahead-go directly to CR Flooring-you will not be disappointed! (Ask for Amanda too!).

I also booked an appointment with Ann Copeland who's always smiling and just overall has a good aura that makes people want to continue shopping at CR Flooring!
