To say that I’m disappointed is an understatement. I hired a painting company because I don’t have the time or expertise to paint rooms in the home myself. What I got is a sloppy rushed mess that I could definitely replicate on a bad day. I spoke with the project manager half way through first day and communicated that the job looked sloppy. After the first day I was very clear that I was giving him an opportunity to right the ship. He was incredibly personable but I received lip service. By the end of the project I was just hand holding and reassuring them they had done a good job to get them out the door. Now I must to stare at a really poor work product because we know painting isn’t cheap. Also there was definitely an employee that would not have been covered by the insurance and I’ll leave it at that. Definitively not two coats in many places, trim just fully painted with wall paint, trim poorly lined out, many spots on both ceilings and walls missed. I would absolutely NOT hiring Atlanta Painting Company again.

We just had the exterior of our home completed and the results were excellent. The project manager, Alejandro, was involved throughout the job and was both very helpful and professional. The team of Enrique and Douglas were excellent and provided ongoing support of every item during the project. I would strongly recommend the Atlanta Painting Company.

We recently had our home’s exterior painted by this company, and they did an excellent job from start to finish! The entire process from paint selection to the final touches was smooth and professional. They even connected us with a color specialist who helped us choose the perfect colors for our home. That made such a big difference. Alejandro managed everything from the beginning, including the contracts, scheduling, and updates throughout the project. He was incredibly accommodating, especially when we changed our minds about the colors midway. The team’s workmanship and attention to detail were top-notch, and the results look fantastic! Very affordable, reliable, and professional service . I’d highly recommend them for your next painting project!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Complete Disregard for Quality and Property. This is NOT a Professional Company. Do not believe the glossy brochures or their claims of "over 20 years of experience" and "trained painters." My entire project with Atlanta Painting Company—for both interior trim painting and exterior services (siding, shutters, wood replacement)—was a total disaster characterized by incompetence, extreme sloppiness, and property damage. The crew’s priority was speed, not quality, demonstrating an absolute disregard for my newly renovated home. Systemic Failure to Perform Contracted Work: They operated with a clear and persistent pattern of attempting to skip contracted steps. For the exterior, they initially refused to replace all rotted siding; I had to point out the missing work and escalate the issue to management to get it completed. Inside, they left multiple unpainted spots and failed to move furniture (bed/desk) to paint behind. Zero Preparation, Unacceptable Finish: The most basic steps of professional painting were ignored. Walls were not cleaned, wiped, or sanded, resulting in a rough, visibly poor surface finish on the trim. Reckless Property Damage: They used NO drop cloths or any protective coverings. The results were catastrophic: They failed to protect my new hardwood floors and new stair treads/risers, resulting in significant paint drips, large pooling in corners, and paint smeared on metal spindles. This required extensive cleaning and re-painting of the new risers. They stained my brand new carpet because they refused to cover the area. I had to personally clean paint off my sofa, and they carelessly got white trim paint onto my colored walls. They also initially left the yard an absolute mess. Egregious Unprofessional Conduct: In a stunning display of entitlement, the crew adjusted my thermostat down to a freezing 45 degrees without permission. The Project Manager was essentially absent until I raised holy hell over the horrendous quality. When I was rightfully frustrated and emotional from having to constantly inspect and police their negligent work, the Manager chose to adopt a "moral high ground" posture rather than own their company’s failure. While issues were eventually corrected only after immense drama and forced escalation, the stress, time, and damage to my property make this one of the worst contractor experiences possible. This is not a professional company. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else.

From the first interaction with Atlanta Painting Company with Justin (Sales) through the end of our whole home interior painting project - literally today - this was nothing but a top notch experience. Before we even got started with painting, we had opportunity to meet with Ally (Color Consultant). We had samples we'd gotten when we thought we were going to take this on ourselves (HA!) and based on those and the furniture and decor, Ally recommended only some minor changes and was a huge help in determining where to put accent walls. Now that it's all complete, I am glad her consultation was included. Communication between the time we decided to hire them and the day before project start was consistent and effortless. The day before project start, Alejandro (Project Manager) reached out to make sure we had all the day of details and provided a final review of the project scope and colors to ensure we were all on the same page. Luis (our foreman) and Juan and Eduardo (our primary crew) were on time each day, worked diligently, were respectful of our home and, while we had moved as much of the large furniture we could, they were helpful in getting a few last things we needed an extra pair of hands for. Their attention to detail in protecting surfaces not to be painted was absolutely amazing. There is nothing I have seen where there is paint but where there shouldn't be. Each day before leaving, everything was cleaned up and tidy. They made sure we had access to key kitchen needs at the end of the day as well and one shower, which varied based on where they were painting, each day. There were very few and very minor touchups I saw throughout which were all caught and taken care of, nothing I would consider at all out of the ordinary with any paint job. There was also opportunity for a final walkthrough at the end. Without anything being rushed or any shortcuts having been taken, they finished between one and two days ahead of the estimated completion date. As they finished rooms, they put furniture back in its original space, they cleaned up and left our home clean before leaving at the end of the last project day. Special call out, since I work from home, and my work requires confidentiality, I did need a space to work from. They worked with me and we selected the smaller guestroom, which they completed the incorporated into the last two days, as a way to partner around that. This also allowed them to get the master done sooner and so made for a smooth transition from one room to the other. Some tips: Make sure you do our level best to provide them with a work-ready space. As I mentioned, we moved almost all of the large furniture items by the night before. And while we sort of felt like we were moving out, we took everything down, moved half of a garage's worth of things completely out of the way, centralized some items on the kitchen counter and island since they were going to be draped and not in the way of painting, left sliders for both carpet and hard floors. With no hand towels out, I left pop-up style paper towels in the bathrooms. All in all, without hesitation, I recommend them for your interior paint needs and I will use them again when I have exterior painting needs. If I can come in and edit later, I will attach some pictures once the house is back to normal.
