  Basement flooded. Sump pump failed. Thousands in mitigation. Liability nightmare. Cool Air installed our sump pump and we ended up with a flooded basement and emergency remediation. The pump repeatedly stopped working, and a third party plumber later found rocks/gravel in the sump pit being sucked into the pump and jamming it. When we tried to address the damages properly, Ken Johnson (manager) refused to provide: - the recording they said they had of our call where their technician, David, admitted fault, and - their general liability insurance information If you hire Cool Air for sump pump work, get everything in writing and confirm the pump is protected from debris. I wouldn’t use them again.

  Extremely thorough HVAC check up. I also appreciate the technical explanation of how 2 electrical components work, what they do and why they needed to be replaced. All set for cooling season now.

  I had a great experience today with Cool AIr Mechcanical & Plumbing. Things went smooth from start to finish. I called in around 9 AM to scehedule an appoint,ment to look at my furnace. The customer care person was frienly and courteous and scheulded a technician to arrive at my home by noon. I got an update prior to the technician's arrival. It included the technician's name along with a photo. The technician also called me regarding his arrival time. Joseph Sawdy was the technician who came out today. He was extremely polite. I took him to the attic to look at the furnace. He conducted several safety checks and then got the unit up and running very quickly. I found him to be very knowledgeable about HVAC systems an equipment. I would definitely want him to come out again to look at my systems. He is a great technician! Based on this experience I will use Cool Air Mechcanical & Plumbing for future service on my HVAC systems. I have also scheduled them to provide me with a cost to replace a complete system, AC and heating.

  We’ve had a prolonged, tricky issue with our HVAC, for which we received a pricey quote from our prior service company. We decided it would be sensible to get a second opinion, and went with Costco’s endorsed brand - Cool Air. Their technicians - DJ and Damian - were dogged and thorough with their problem solving and approach, and a week later, the problem (and several root causes) have been fixed. What they identified turned out to be quite different from what the prior service provider was going to charge us a hefty price tag for… so we are very pleased with everything! Can’t go wrong with these folks!

  I have been using Cool Air for almost a decade, I keep a maintenance plan open with them and they service my machine 2ce a year as well as resolve any issues that pop up. I have been impressed by every technician I have seen from this company. Jerry Cobb was our first point of contact and he really sold us on the company and gav us loads of great information. Most recently Aryan from HVAC and Daniel from electric have helped us out to ensure our family is safe and warm as our heater wiring went kaput during this insane cold spell. They were out here promptly and checked everything to ensure we didn't have to spend more than was necessary to fix the problem and remain safe
