- MMMikeOct 29, 20251.0Extremely poor account management. Over billed for temporary heat, forcing a credit for $19K to be issued. Rented a forklift at the end of the project and was told (4) invoices were unpaid, one being 262 days old. These invoices were mailed to the wrong address, even though $157K of invoices for the same project were sent to the correct address. We were told we provided the wrong address and were threatened with collections. When I voiced my displeasure with the situation, the outside sales rep (Peyton) told me I should not jeopardize the convenience and availability United Rentals offers. Our company does over $2M in business with UR annually. I cannot imagine how they treat small accounts.

Showed up the day of my reservation to have them tell me they didn’t have it they just seen my reservation that morning and the closest one was Stone Mountain. My cc was charged already for the rental. I cancelled cause I wasn’t driving to Stone Mountain when I reserved it at the Newnan office. Asked for my cc to be credited back he said he would do it right then. The charge is done processing and I still don’t see a refund three days later. This is the second time this has happened. I had to go to forest park to pick up a trencher last time. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere that respects and appreciates their customers. Use sunbelt or Coweta Rentals.
