Misleading and unethical experience with DRB Homes I’m writing this on behalf of my sister and brother-in-law. They was pressured into signing a contract based on misleading promises from DRB representatives. They were assured certain upgrades could be customized after signing and even gave them itemized pricing. After committing, they learned the pricing was way off—and DRB refused to honor their own numbers. When trying to resolve it, they admitted the mistake but gave them 2 bad options: pay $10,000 more, or walk away and lose the home. This bait-and-switch tactic is unacceptable. Homebuyers deserve honesty, not manipulation. DRB Homes—do the right thing. Acknowledge your error and make it right.

In addition to the misleading pricing, the communication was abysmal, and customer service was virtually nonexistent. Important details were either not communicated or delayed, leaving me unable to make informed decisions. Attempts to reach out for assistance were met with indifference, and the lack of support only added to the frustration. This disregard for customer needs only deepened the mistrust I had in DRB Homes. Please do not start with DRB for a forever Home !!!!

I requested the removal of a garage, but the response was delayed multiple times. To make matters worse, I was given incorrect information repeatedly, which only added to the confusion and stress. This was supposed to be the home where I would build a life with my five kids and my new husband, and instead, it’s been an overwhelming experience marked by miscommunication and unmet expectations. They requested to move me to a new lot. which I do not want.

I recently purchased my home in Trinity Park, thinking I had found my dream home in what would be a great neighborhood. Now that I’m settled in, it feels more like a nightmare. The first red flag was the quality of the work. The painters hired by the builder did a terrible job—sloppy finishes, corners cut, and little attention to detail. For a home priced at $600K, these kinds of flaws are unacceptable. Every day I’m discovering something new that should have been done right the first time. Beyond the house itself, the community feels like a major letdown. Trinity Park is marketed as a premium neighborhood with homes in the $600K–$700K range, yet there are no real amenities to speak of. The so-called “walking trail” is just a line of dirt—it’s unattractive, unusable, and honestly an embarrassment for a community in this price bracket. It feels like the builder’s only goal is to sell as many homes as possible, without any regard for quality or long-term value. Nearby communities, priced much lower, offer far more in terms of amenities and attention to detail. What are we really paying for here? Before buying in Trinity Park, ask yourself: do you want to spend $600K–$700K for a home in a neighborhood where your “amenity” is a dirt road?

This was my first time getting a house built. During the process my experience was good. Now that I have been in my home for 6 months the cracks with the community has shown itself. My biggest issue: a mulch walking trail next to my home. Not one time was I informed that a trial would go between my home and the next house. Let alone a mulch one. When I reached out to the HOA, I was told "sorry you were not informed about this. There are no plans to build a fence next to the trail but HOA will maintain the cleanliness of the trial. If I would like to building a privacy fence, I can" BUT we have submit a request and pay for them to review the request which they could still deny. The community has signed a petition regarding a mulch trail. Our homes start at 700k and they are putting in a mulch trail, nothing else. Is this what our HOA pays for? One of their communities in Loctus Grove pays $200 less than Trinity Park and they just received a pool and a pickleball set...their homes are half the price of Trinity Park homes I have called the warranty department at least 5 times since January because of the quality of the home. Paint stains around the house, finger imprints on the floor in different places I have tried to clean it and my maid as well. Still there. One of my tubs had brown spots in it (all of this was after my finally walk-thru) which is odd that they added more issues after I walked through the second time. At the end of the day, communication was not handle properly regarding the trail next to my home. If I was told, I would have picked another lot to build my home. They rush these homes and forget about the quality and to keep the value of the homes for future sells. I wouldnt tell anyone not to come to Trinity Park or another DRB property. I will say to do your homework and ask a lot of questions. Showing the model draws you in but remember that is not the house you are getting.
