Unfortunately Cool Air Mechanical (CAM) has failed me on many occasions leading to the current rating. Recently they sent a technician to service a mini split who had as much knowledge of the unit as I do. The technician made a diagnosis (I agreed based on the visible jumble of numbers on the panel) but he also requested that someone savvier take on the task, a week or so later they sent the same technician, who then ordered the part. As time passed I made contact with CAM, the part was in another appt. set. The day before they called to say they didn't have the part and they would contact me when they did. Since then I have had to contact them and constantly heard "let me check, I see you called...the part is in, I will contact the department and they will contact you..." I have made no less than 4 calls with the same result, and each time I get their adds but no action on the matter. Last call was two days ago...still waiting for them to contact me.

The technician that serviced me was named Vernon. He was so thorough and explained every part of the service he completed. I could tell he was very knowledgable and skilled. I’ve been with Cool Air for 6 years, and Vernon was one of the best service technicians I’ve worked with in my time with this company. Overall, great experience with Cool Air.

So we just had our mini split installed in the summer of this year and already faced issues with the install. To make this short, they are not good with servicing their warranty until you become nasty. I had a refrigerant leak that affected the functionality of my system, and an employee name Armando was supposed to call me twice and he never did. It took me being nasty threatening to take them to court and report to Costco before they sent me someone with integrity and diligence. The person who saved Cool Air from my wrath was Vernon Mathis, the install field manager. He spent hours in the cold until the issue was resolved and made sure all my mini splits were working properly. Had it not been for Vernon, we would be spending the winter with space heaters all over the house instead.

We purchased 2 furnaces from Costco, who deals with Cool Air Mechanical. Cool Air was professional in every way with communications and updates on representative and installation team arrivals and schedules. Their rep, Kennie Picon, was very professional and explained what needed to be done and was not "pushy" in any way. We did not feel pressured and our decision to have the work done by Cool Air was made because of how Kennie presented himself and the company and how they would stand behind their installation. Their installation team, Moises Garcia and Bernie Mejia were also very professional, efficient and CLEAN. They covered the floors they made sure all was working and performed a final walk thru with us explaining the new system and how it works. After they left there was no sign that we just had 2 furnaces replaced! We were very satisfied with Cool Air and would highly recommend them.
