- RBraynesia brownOct 3, 20241.0Called Monday September 30 to get someone to come out and check my A/C unit due due to a powersurge from last week's storm which caused for my air to go out. The tech came out and blantly lied and stated that the whole unit needed to be replaced. I told him my unit was just serviced on the 14 of September and it had no issues and it was working just fine until the power went out. He told me well it's old. I informed him the unit is right at 12 years old and gets yearly maintenance service. He then goes on to tell me that it's nothing he could do because it is no longer any good. He proceeds to leave me 3 different ball park figures to replace the ac unit and furnace or just replace the unit. The next day I called the office which was no help. So, I then contacted Meeks heating and cooling whom came right out to my home and repaired my A/C unit.
