  We entered into a contract with Tuff Shed and paid a deposit. Over the course of six months, they were unable to secure the required permit for our project. Part of the issue was that they were using engineering documentation from out of state engineers that does not meet the requirements of our county in North Carolina. Since we have no shed and no permit after six months, we have requested the return of our deposit multiple times. At this point, they have stopped responding entirely and have not returned our money. It appears   that others are having the same issue . Use a CC with them and do not let them go past 3 months without getting your shed . This company is a dishonest company . I’m sure there will be more to come .

  I cannot stress this enough. Do not do business with Tuff Shed. In February, I paid a $4,000 deposit for a shed. The representative, Evan, seemed very professional and assured us the process would be smooth. We were told a permit was required, which we fully understood and cooperated with. From that point forward, the process became extremely frustrating. They delayed progress repeatedly and continued to promise a firm deadline that was never met. Because the property is in a flood zone, we spent over $10,000 out of pocket on surveys, documentation, and everything they instructed us to obtain. In the end, we were told the shed would have to be elevated 5 feet in the air. Then we found out Tuff Shed could not provide proper engineering documentation accepted by the state of North Carolina. The only engineer they had was based in Tennessee, which was not accepted. When the promised deadline passed and nothing had been permitted, the contract was canceled. Now they are completely ignoring all communication and have refused to return our $4,000 deposit. This has been a costly and frustrating experience. The company presents themselves as kind and professional, but in our experience they have not been honest or accountable. Proceed with caution. I would not recommend them to anyone

  The customer service experience was excellent and professional. The workers that assembled the tuff shed was so friendly and respectful and did and excellent job. WAY TO GO TUFF SHED TEAM. THANKS HANNA FOR SETTING EVERYTHING UP. GREAT JOB.

  Tuff Shed is the way to go! If you’re in Atlanta DeKalb Gwinnett area I-85 Locn is the best! Ask for Hanna! It took us a long while to made up our minds and get our space ready in our back yard still working on it though! LOL :-) Hanna was NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING!! She was patient professional knowledgeable and possessed such integrity during the entire process! All our questions and concerns were addressed in a timely fashion. And the original quote stayed ORIGINAL! No sneaky Add ons! Great discounts if you catch their promotions. You can get a Quality bldg/shed for a great price! Now be cautioned Tuff Shed isn’t cheap but you get what you pay for! I did my homework a comparison between the big box sheds and Tuff Shed you are going get about 15-20% less quality on the flooring, the roof, windows and even how the doors are constructed by you know WHO!?? I mean when they say TUFF SHED??? It’s built tuff and it looks good too! I’ll try to get some pics out soon we are about to paint it I’ll do before and after! Now go by and see Hanna tell her Carl n Norella sent you! You won’t regret it!!!

  Various Tuff Shed representatives advertise on Facebook Marketplace, but they never bother to respond to inquiries?? I’ve messaged several over the last couple of weeks and none have responded! Why make an advertisement if you have no intention of replying to a customer’s inquiry? How do you stay in business when you don’t correspond with customers? I guess I’ll take my business elsewhere.
