- CYCharles YangDec 21, 20241.0My worst home buying experience. I dont know why communication was so awful and there was misleading and inconsistent offers and the lender was awful too. Ive never been so confused and hit with surprises. Been shopping here for months waiting for the perfect time. The entire time, I was told 30k incentive can be used towards purchase price, turns out, there is none because house already reduced alot. Then later told it would go toward rate buy down. Went to sign contract and they want 50k down on a va loan. Then wheres the rate buy down? Their lender said thats the only way it can work. I went with another builder with the exact price and no downpayment and approved. Greedy people trying to take advantage of your assets with no clear explanations. The sales agent wasnt the friendliest and disrespectful to my realtor.

However, the icing on the cake at East Harbor, is Jamie Anderson! She's a consummate professional who genuinely cares about the client. You often times visit communities with unfriendly, disingenuous, stereotypical sales people, Jamie is the complete opposite! Meeting and working with her has been the highlight of my experience at East Harbor! Thank you Jamie, you're AWESOME!!
