  I contracted them in late 2022 to do a panel swap and change out my outlets in my home. To preface, this home was built in the 70s and has aluminum wiring. One of the outlets failed this year, so I contacted another company to change it out for me. It was discovered that the outlets Reliable Electric installed were not rated for aluminum - copper only. This is to be somewhat expected as they don’t make aluminum outlets anymore, but the danger comes from the fact that their technician did not add any copper “pig tails” to the outlets on install. This caused the outlet to lose its ground and no longer function. Given this fact, I had the tech look at the panel swap, as I was suspicious of Reliable Electric’s work at this point. When we took off the panel, we found a nightmare. No anti oxidant was used for the connections of the aluminum wiring, and for some, out of spec “wagos” were used. It’s almost as if the person who did this work just used what they happened to have in their back pocket. This work directly caused a short and led to a melted wire/connection in my panel. Reliable Electric may try to spin this as a “bad egg” technician, but the work on the panel and outlets were done by SEPARATE individuals. This shows an organization-wide misunderstanding of basic electrical safety. Upon contacting this company, many of their phone lines don’t work, and the one that I finally did get a person on went to a secretary. This I believe is the same person who I communicated with via email. They told me the owner is unavailable due to “family issues” and hasn’t been in for a week and a half. Apparently they “expected to hear from him by now” but that was over a week ago now meaning this owner apparently has been AWOL for almost three weeks. When you have technicians installing fire hazards, that is just unacceptable.

  We had our neighbors tree fall and knock down power lines to our house. Our neighbors called reliable Electric. When the supervisor Jackson came out he came over to ask us if we had an electrician. I am glad he did because we thought it was Georgia power we needed to call. He gave us his boss Charlie's number to call in the morning. When I called the next morning Jackson had already let his boss know that we would be calling. They came Out fast and worked fast to get our power back on. Thank you so much Charlie and Jackson you both are awesome!!!

  Reliable Electric is definitely a five star company !!! My phone is cracked and I need to get a new one because it’s not letting me click on the 5th star. However all can rest assured when contacting RELIABLE ELECTRIC!!! THEY ARE THE BEST ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS AROUND!!!!
