Alex was knowledgeable, professional, and a very good communicator. We had not planned to replace our main circuit breaker board, however he explained the risks and options of not doing it for a 38 year old house and both my wife and I were convinced it was the right thing to do now. I would highly recommend him and Servicewise Electric to anyone in the future. He estimated the time it would take to complete the job; stayed until it was done; and did so with time to spare.

Byron with ServiceWise did a big plumbing job for our business today. It went like clockwork, and he and his assistant completed the job in less time than expected. They were both very professional and courteous. I should also say, they came in lower on their estimate than two other companies! I highly recommend ServiceWise for your plumbing and electrical needs! We have used them for both with 5 stars always!

This place is the best and we plan to use them exclusively moving forward. Having recently moved to a new town, we didn’t really know who to call for electrical work, and we definitely hit the jackpot with these folks. Mitchell and Scott spent several days with us getting our electrical problems sorted out and they were absolute professionals and easy to be around. Their technically knowledge and problem solving was most impressive. We look forward to having them back for our next project. Servicewise rocks and I can’t recommend them enough.

Servicewise Lead Technician Thomas Howard and his assistant, Scott, were very professional and prompt in our scheduling needs. The estimates I received a few days ago for electrical work were very fair and competitive, and the deciding factor was based on previous company reviews from customers. Thomas and Scott were both thorough in completing all rewiring and replacement needs. Thomas kept me informed throughout the process and let me know about some future upgrades I will consider for the near future, especially with an aging electrical panel. Customer service was awesome with these guys. I’ll definitely use Servicewise again, and hope to see these guys at that time.
Frequently Asked Questions About Servicewise Electric & Plumbing
Is it better to repair or replace my water heater?
The decision between repairing or replacing your water heater depends on its age and the cost of repairs. For units over 8-10 years old or those with tank leaks, replacement is often the more cost-effective long-term solution. Servicewise can assess your specific situation and provide guidance on the most suitable option for your home and budget.
How do I know if I need an electrical panel upgrade?
Indicators that you may need an electrical panel upgrade include frequent light flickering, circuit breakers tripping regularly, or insufficient circuits for modern appliances or electric vehicle chargers. Our certified electricians can perform a thorough inspection of your panel and recommend appropriate, code-compliant upgrades if necessary.
Why does my breaker keep tripping?
Repeatedly tripping breakers often indicate circuit overloads or potential wiring problems. This situation should not be ignored as it can pose a fire risk. Servicewise offers prompt troubleshooting and repair services to ensure your home's electrical system remains safe and functional.
What size water heater do I need for my home?
The appropriate water heater size depends on your household's water consumption. While a 50-gallon tank typically suffices for a family of four, individual needs may vary. Our experts can evaluate your specific requirements and advise on the most suitable option, including both conventional and energy-efficient tankless models.
How often should I schedule plumbing maintenance?
Annual plumbing inspections are recommended to detect leaks, address water pressure issues, and prevent drain buildup. Our Wise Plan members benefit from yearly inspections and priority service, helping to avoid unexpected and costly plumbing problems.
Can I install an EV charger at home if my electrical panel is old?
Installing an EV charger with an older electrical panel may be possible, but it requires a thorough assessment of your electrical system's capacity. Our electricians can evaluate your current setup and, if needed, upgrade your panel to safely accommodate the EV charger installation.
Why is my water bill suddenly higher than usual?
An unexpected increase in your water bill could be due to a concealed leak, a malfunctioning toilet, or an issue with your underground water line. Our team utilizes advanced leak detection technology to quickly identify and resolve the source of the problem.
What's the difference between a GFCI and a regular outlet?
GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlets provide enhanced safety by immediately cutting off power when they detect moisture or an electrical imbalance. These outlets are mandatory in areas prone to water exposure such as kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor spaces. Our team can efficiently install GFCI outlets to improve your home's electrical safety.
Why does my water heater make popping or rumbling noises?
Popping or rumbling sounds from your water heater typically indicate sediment accumulation within the tank. This buildup can reduce efficiency and shorten the unit's lifespan. Annual tank flushing can help mitigate this issue, and our technicians can perform this maintenance task for you.
Why do my lights dim when I use my microwave or vacuum?
Dimming lights when using high-power appliances often suggests an overloaded circuit or inadequate wiring for the current electrical demand. Our electricians can conduct a comprehensive circuit load evaluation and may recommend installing dedicated circuits to address this issue.
Is it better to repair or replace my water heater?
For water heaters over 8-10 years old or with tank leaks, replacing is often more cost-effective. We assess your situation to recommend the best option.
