  HL Sims installed our church countertops and cabinets. Lavinia was very helpful in helping us to find the color and type of countertops. She was very patient and answered all our questions. The installers Patrick and Zeb were very professional and nice. They made sure to clean up all the trash from the installation. They were extremely careful with our pre-existing base structures. I would highly recommend them. Thanks HL Sims for making this a satisfying experience.

  I was supposed to get my countertops in about 2-3 weeks and it’s been 2 months and they are telling me I have to wait another month just to get them installed. They charged me on time the full amount and after the hold and not being able to deliver I told them I wanted to cancel and instead of a full reimbursement, they told me there were some “fees for measurement” and “a portion of the countertop was already made.” Just for that it was half of what I paid, avoid them not recommended at all.

  We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and this is the first time I have purchased countertops. HL Sims has so many different choices of countertops to choose from. I really enjoyed working with Kim throughout the process of finding the right countertop. She was very friendly, patient and knowledgable in helping me understand my options and ultimately helped me get the countertops that I had been looking for!

  HL Sims did a great job for us with our new bathroom countertop. From helping me make a great product decision, to measurement, fabrication and installation, all went smoothly and efficiently. Laura was especially helpful keeping me informed every step of the way. We are very happy with the finished product.

  After being referred to HL Sims from a neighbor of mine, I had an afternoon visit with Kathy F. as I was looking at a Quartz countertop solution for a temporary fix until I could get my dream of soapstone countertops in the 113 year old house I am living in. Kathy was very patient and although could have made a high dollar sale to suit my needs, explained they didn't work on commissions and then she logically helped me select a fantastic laminate that looked just like soapstone for less than 1/2 the cost of the Quartz that I was going to purchase. This not only saved money for something that would only be in for 1 to 2 years, but also allowed me to get used to the look of soapstone so I would know what the ultimate appearance would be. HL Sims representative that came out to measure my existing countertops was extremely professional and his expertise allowed a perfect measurement, even in an old house that is not exactly plumb square. One week later I was being called to schedule having the counters installed. On installation day within just a few hours, the professional installers had the old ones out (after removing appliances) and everything finished, gleaming and clean. I cannot express adequately express my joy and gratitude for HL Sims and the team that I have worked with. They most definitely will be my choice and recommendation from here on out when it comes to countertops!
