We had a fantastic experience with Duggan’s One Hour Heating & Air, and especially with Calvin. We were in the middle of selling our home and, of course, the AC decided to stop working right during the buyer’s inspection — worst timing possible.
Calvin, who has been servicing our system for the past few years, responded quickly and immediately got to work diagnosing the issue. Within minutes, he identified that the problem wasn’t the HVAC system at all, but a faulty breaker in the electrical panel. He replaced the 30A breaker on the spot and had the system back up and running almost instantly .
What really stands out about Calvin is his professionalism, knowledge, and efficiency. He explains everything clearly, doesn’t waste time, and gets the job done right the first time. In a high-stress situation during a home sale, that kind of reliability is priceless.

Calvin has been our technician for about 5 years now. He is a fantastic service technician and always an absolute professional. There is no pressure to up-sell me, or set us up with another system as we are due for one. It is refreshing to know our heating and cooling system is protected and maintained by a man working at this level. I do not recommend this company. While servicing my unit last fall, the technician either stepped on or put weight on the drain line and pulled it loose. This caused condensation to fill the pan with water and shut my unit off when we ran the A/C last week. Not knowing why my A/C was not working I called Duggan and was told it would be four days before they could get out to see what was wrong. With it being over 84 degrees in the house I used another company who arrived that day. The technician quickly found the problem and showed me pictures of the line that was pulled out of the unit at the glue joint and said there had to be considerable pressure on it for that to happen. It was an easy fix but cost me $89.00 for the service charge. When I informed Duggan, they said they would not reimburse me because I should have waited for them to come and they would have taken care of it. I run a local company, and we take great pride in our customer service. I know accidents happen and I'm sure the tech didn't mean to knock my line out. I would not have hesitated not only reimbursing my customer but also apologizing for the inconvenience (which they didn't do). Word of warning..........be sure to test everything before they leave your property because they don't stand behind their work!
Problem #2 - Duggan’s did a yearly maintenance on my upstairs unit & 4+ months later I noticed water stains on my upstairs bedroom ceiling. Went up to the attic to find a puddle of water & the condensate drain line disconnected. They initially installed the safety switch on the condensate drain line over a year ago. The technician who did the recent maintenance must have bumped the condensate drain line loose. They should have glued the pipes after installing the safety switch. Called Duggan’s this morning to report the damage, they quoted me a diagnostic fee of $79 & will send someone tomorrow. Not a happy customer at this point.
Problem #1 - A new downstairs system was installed late October 2025 for $14.5k. Few weeks later I called to complain about excessive vibration. Technician came & installed a couple rubber grommets to the mounting straps. It helped. Couple months later I called to complain about the excessive vibrations - my heavy & large wood/metal coffee table would vibrate & anything we put on it like coffee mugs. Technician came & discovered an unbalanced fan. A new one was ordered & installed the next day. It eliminated the vibration. Brand new system installed, they didn’t test it or perform a follow up to make sure customer is satisfied.
