Tim Robinson and his crew did an awesome job on my plumbing issues. Quickly diagnose my problem, gave an estimate for the repair in a timely fashion No surprises. I don’t normally like recommending contractors electricians plumbers, but Plumbing Express is top-notch on my list. They were very good about notifying me with updates when the crew was on the way and worked me in on an earlier date, then was originally scheduled for.
Thank you, Plumbing Express! Keeping you in my contacts.

I had a whole home repipe on my home. It was built in the 70s and the copper pipes were constantly springing leaks so it needed to be done. They quoted me a competitive price for the job, but the best part was the followup and communication with the team along the way to ensure my specifications were met and I was completely satisfied with my water system. Ed Torres the plumber along with Ivan the scheduler, and really the whe team that completed the work and the drywallers, couldn't recommend them enough.

Ron was our second plumber from this company. The first plumber came, examined pipes and said he found no leak, even though we had experiences a large amount of water leaking from the ceiling in the finished basement. Several days later we had another leak-same area but less water the second time. Ron came in, listened to our frustration and did a more thorough inspection of the pipes and identified the problem. He was very personable and professional. On his third visit, we had several replacement pipes installed and are without leaks again.
Our frustration, with the situation, was my son had used your company to replace pipes when he purchased the home and founding out not all the pipes were included with that process.

Called Plumbing Express as tankless hot water not operating. Their website states "Get Free Plumbing Quote ". When service man showed up an looked at unit he said there would be a $207 charge to look into unit in order to give me a quote to fix unit. Due to not having hot water and time required to get another company to address the problem I agreed to pay $207 for quote. After looking in unit I was told he would not be able to fix due to age of unit and parts not available. I think he should have said parts not available when seeing model number on front of unit and I would not have wasted $207.

Dylan from Plumbing Express came over and replaced our garbage disposal for us. It was older, had a massive leak, and needed to be replaced. He did a great job and was in and out in about 30 minutes!
I also asked him to check out a potential leak I had been hearing in my ceiling. He used a thermal camera to investigate and was very honest and upfront about what he found. Rather than immediately cutting into the drywall to confirm something uncertain, he explained that the sound could simply be pipes expanding and that opening the wall might be unnecessary. He recommended monitoring the area and waiting to see if a wet spot appears, which would clearly indicate an actual leak. I really appreciated that he didn’t try to upsell or push unnecessary work.
Overall, great service and a great guy. They will definitely be our go-to plumbing service from now on.
A whole house repipe replaces the entire water distribution system in your home, including all the water supply piping and valves. The system starts at the main shutoff valve and terminates at the emergency stop of each plumbing fixture.
How do I know if I need a whole house repipe?
You might need a repipe if you have recurring leaks, visible corrosion, or an outdated piping material like polybutylene. Repipes are the best solution when old piping materials (copper, pex, cpvc, or polybutylene) are past their service life and are beginning to fail.
What materials does Plumbing Express use for repipes?
Plumbing Express only uses high-quality brands like Flowguard Gold, Uponor, Sioux Chief, and Watts. We use high-quality quarter-turn metal body ball valves for new valves and hosebibbs.
How much time does Plumbing Express take to repipe a house?
Most repipes take 1 to 2 days for plumbing and 1 to 2 days for drywall and paint restoration.
Will my water be shut off during the repipe?
Yes, but only during working hours while the plumbing is being replaced. Water is restored to the home each evening.
Do I need to leave my house during the repipe?
No, you can remain at home during the replumb and sheetrock repair. We work room by room and use plastic sheeting to control dust.
Will you repair the drywall after the repipe?
Yes. We patch sheetrock, prime, and paint-match. We aim to leave your home looking like we were never there.
How much does a whole house repipe cost?
We provide free in-home consultations and detailed quotes. Pricing depends on the size and layout of your home, as well as the number of plumbing fixtures.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, we offer flexible financing options to make the repipe more affordable.
Will a repipe increase the value of my home?
Absolutely. New plumbing adds value, especially if you're replacing problematic systems like polybutylene or deteriorated copper. It’s a selling point for buyers and can speed up your home sale.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
Plumbing Express installs pipes that come with 25-year and 30-year warranty on the piping and a 10-year labor warranty.
What sets Plumbing Express apart from other repipe companies?
We are independently owned and take pride in our customer service. We offer a clean, efficient, and professional experience. We handle drywall and paint in-house, maintain code compliance, use premium materials, and restore water each afternoon during the repipe.
Do I need to maintain the new piping?
Not much. PEX and CPVC are corrosion-resistant and durable. Just avoid chemical drain cleaners and excessive water pressure.
Will pipes need to be run through the attic?
We can avoid running pipes in attics in most types of houses, except for ranch-style houses on a slab and some slab-on-grade two-story homes.
If I have a ranch slab home or two-story slab home where pipes are run in the attic space, how will they be protected from freezing?
We cover pipes with a specially constructed thermal blanket consisting of multiple layers. The thermal blanket protects the pipes from freezing and has been engineer-approved.
How will you repipe my island sink if the kitchen is on a slab?
We give customers a choice of 1) cutting and chiseling a channel in the concrete slab and running a new pipe or 2) snaking a small diameter PEX line through the existing pipe if customers prefer not to remove their flooring and disturb the slab.
Our basement piping was replaced already. Does it need to be replaced during the whole house repipe?
If this piping is in good condition and not original to a home with known piping issues, it technically does not have to be replaced. However, we do recommend replacing all the pipe to ensure consistent material and avoid potential failure points in the future.
Which material do you recommend: PEX-A or PEX-B? If PEX-B, what brand of PEX will you use?
We currently recommend Uponor PEX-A and Flowguard Gold CPVC.
Will both hot and cold water lines be clearly separated and insulated?
Yes, hot and cold water lines are routed separately, and are insulated as required by Georgia Plumbing Code, including on any hot water recirculation line and in attics (if applicable).
Will the work be done by your own staff or subcontracted crews?
All work is completed by our own trained in-house repipe crews, not subcontractors. This allows us to maintain full quality control and accountability.
How will the piping be routed? Will it avoid unnecessary wall/beam cuts?
We typically cut into walls and ceilings depending on your home's layout. We do not cut into floors.
Will all shutoff valves and faucet connections be replaced?
Yes, all angle stops (shutoff valves) and supply lines will be replaced with new quarter-turn valves and reinforced braided connectors. We also replace the main pressure regulator valve, main shutoff valve, and thermal expansion tank.
Will the pipes be properly secured to prevent movement or vibration?
All new piping is secured/strapped according to Georgia State Plumbing Code with appropriate hangers and clamps to support the piping and to minimize movement, banging, or vibration.
Does the estimate include the plumbing permit and scheduling a city inspector?
We assess a permit fee to cover the city fee and processing. We take care of applying for the permit and scheduling the city inspector. You will need someone at the home to meet the inspector.
Will we sign a formal contract including all work details?
Yes, we will send you an Interior Repipe Agreement that outlines all scope items, materials, warranty terms, and expectations for your review and signature before we begin.
Are there any hidden fees? Will I be informed of all extras before they're done?
We do not typically have any extra fees associated with the work and would discuss this with you. Any changes or unexpected conditions requiring additional work will be discussed with you before any charges are incurred.
