- TBTom BaumannAug 4, 20255.0Called John on a Friday for specialized equipment rental -- a mini-excavator with auger attachment and 5' extension. He sources attachments from two separate locations -- Athens and College Park -- and had everything ready for Monday delivery. Called several other rental companies who didn't have the setup. Not only did Herc have it, they delivered seamlessly.
- LRLeslie RohlandJul 25, 20255.0Five Stars is not enough. We recently started a flooring project which included ripping up 17 year old glued down wood floors over a concrete slab. Our contractors spent almost 3 full days with push behind scrapers while we watched card deck sized wood pop up with excruciating slowness. We were only 1/4 through our demo and running out of time since the installers were scheduled to start in a few days and any delay in the demo was going to push the project out for weeks. After researching, We rented the 25 in wide ride on scraper and that machine is a beast. It tore through 1200 square feet of wood in less than 3 hours. Every glue residue came up easily as well. The sales reps at Herc were so much more knowledgeable than the previous company we had rented the push behind scrapers from. The equipment was in tip top shape and the customer service was top notch. Thanks to Joey and John we finished the demo on time and are almost through with the install of the new flooring.
