  The guys at First Rate Siding have been together for a long time and the teamwork and professionalism they bring to their work shows in each job they do. We had the team replace our siding, paint and put up new gutters. David was great to work with from the very beginning. He provided a reasonable quote, explained the products he would use, the timeline and all steps in the process. He followed up frequently and was always willing to answer questions. His crew, led by Walter, did an excellent job on every aspect of the project, no matter how large or small, down to the cleanup at the end. Our house now looks brand new. We would definitely recommend David, Walter and the crew at First Rate Siding!

  We had seen First Rate Siding and Windows signs in our n`hood and had some neighbors give them excellent reviews. Boy did they not disappoint! David and his crew, led by Walter, were great! The full siding job was done professionally and with expertise. Painting was done soon after and looks fantastic! I would definitely recommend First Rate to anyone needing siding and/or window replacement.

  First Rate replaced siding on my house and painted the exterior. I am super happy and highly recommend David and his crews. The initial meeting, estimation, and contract phase were not only all very pleasant but David had the best price as well of the 3 estimates I got. It was clear from talking with David on the phone and in person that he is very easy and very forthcoming to work with, and he and his team are also very experienced with James Hardie and their best practices. I had a sense that I was getting a great price without losing any quality in materials or workmanship. Everything was done on budget and we were not charged anything extra. The siding work was done by a team of 3 led by Walter. They were awesome. We have a big house and they worked on it for almost 2 full weeks but we appreciated a small crew of diligent craftsmen and did not mind that it took longer than what maybe a larger crew might have taken. This was also peak summer with temps routinely above 90 degrees. We enjoyed getting to know them, and I made sure they had ice water morning and afternoon. We also made smoothies or bought ice cream bars for them to enjoy with their lunch. They were very appreciative of the gesture, and always humble about it. Things went of without a hitch - we did not have any interruption in wifi, ac, etc wiring/equipment for all of which was either on or near the old siding, they worked around our trees, plants, bushes that were also very near to the siding (Walter even trimmed a tree branch that was encroaching onto the roof!), we have two (friendly) dogs that occasionally needed to use the yard while they were working there, and of course the siding replacement and cleanup was all done very well. They also did all the coordination with the dumpster guy as well, and First Rate insists on having dumpsters with wheels which are easier on the driveway - as a result we had a medium one first and then a small one. David was always very upfront about everything, and one of the first things he told me is that on the painting he may not be the cheapest. However, seeing the quality of work from his other crew and the fact that David quoted Sherwin Williams Duration paint versus the less expensive one, I was happy to pay extra for a known entity. There were only a couple of minor issues (door frame was painted with the wrong color) and some window trim needed touching up - all of these were promptly addressed by John and his crew. We are very happy with the quality of the work and how our house looks, and feel happy to have found First Rate siding to take care of this major maintenance work for us.

  We recently had our whole siding replaced by Walter’s crew. We are very happy with the quality！Walter also fixed our rotten doors without extra charge! His craftsman skill is top of notch! You can't tell where the old problem are now. He saved the doors for us. We want to give him 5 plus stars!! It had rained a lot, his crew worked carefully, rearranging the order of things, and didn’t rush it. We had interviewed a bunch of vendors. After I talked with David, I knew I could stop looking. David is so sincere and patient. He spent a lot time to help us to pick the right siding and colors and make sure I am totally comfortable with each decision. He puts the quality on top of everything! That is why I chose him because I knew I could rest free when the project starts. Indeed he worried over every detail for me! Just like he was working on his own house! He is the best contractor we ever had and we will use him again if we have any siding/roof/window projects. Updated: Now they finished the painting jobs, I could't be happier with the new colors of siding and doors. David is very good about matching the colors! My house looks better than the original. It is a bonus without any extra cost-:)
