The tech came out within hours of putting in an online request for an estimate.Sean the tech was great. He was professional, friendly and detailed in his explanation. He explained the cause of the failure, how they would fix it, tips to increase the life span of our door and showed me the materials they use and why. It was very educational. I was blown away by the level of service and the value proposition. So why didn't we use them? We ended up going with a small, local, family owned business in our immediate neighborhood. They were highly rated, with great reviews and recommendations. Truth be told, I wanted to use BGD but my wife overuled and chose this other company while I was at work. I would have absolutely no reservations about using them and I understand why they have excellent reviews. If someone were to ask me I would recommend them even though I ended up going elsewhere. Again, Sean the tech was great and one of the main reasons that BGD quickly moved to the top of the list. Thank you and apologies. Scott Cumming, Ga.

- CJCraig JonesAug 28, 20255.0I'm normally skeptical when I see a company with all excellent reviews, but I went with my gut and called Balanced Garage Doors to diagnose an intermittent issue with opening/closing the garage door and I'm glad I did. The gentleman who scheduled the appointment was great, asked relevant questions to understand the issue and my equipment. Service technician was on schedule and called when he was 20 minutes or so out. The tech listened to my explanation of the problem and talked about possible causes, answered my questions thoroughly. After diagnosis he recommended a tuneup/reset of the opener, door, and tracks to begin with and told me what to look for that would indicate the wall control is going bad. Price quoted for the tune-up was reasonable and the work was completed promptly. Payment from my bank account was easy and quick online. My impression is that Balanced Garage Doors is a good, honest business, that they hire top notch technicians, and they foster a good customer service focus with all of their employees. Definitely will call them again and give them my best recommendation.
