  I was searching for a new double French door for my home. I had called several places looking for quotes and this company was one of them. I had set the appointment for Friday but Thursday evening I got a message saying that the appointment had been canceled! Where I work I'm not allowed to have my phone with me, so when I got their message that evening I called and was told the appointment was canceled because I did not confirm when they called. I explained the phone situation and he told me that I could go online and reschedule it. I told him I wanted to keep my appointment as I had made arrangements to be there and since we were talking now could they please still come to the appointment. I was told no I needed to reschedule! What kind of Customer Service is this?! i've gotten repeated emails and text messages from them wanting to reschedule the appointment that they canceled. There's no way I want to do business with a company like this. I went somewhere else to spend my $10,000! I'm not sure why they have a high rating, their customer service is awful. There are so many places around that replaced doors and windows, find a better one.

  Two sliding doors were installed by Renewal by Andersen on March 2nd, but the project still hasn’t been completed. We are waiting for the required county inspection, and the county informed us they do not have the correct paperwork from the company yet. Because of this, we still can’t fully use the doors or remove the stickers. The installation itself seemed fine, but the delay in finishing the process has been frustrating. Hopefully the company can resolve the paperwork issue soon so the inspection can be completed and the project properly finished. If you plan to use your doors right after installation, be aware it may take a month or more before everything is actually finalized.

  We have recently had 4 large windows installed by Renewal by Andersen and we couldn't be more pleased. The entire process from Sales to Installation and Final Inspections were done by an informed, professional and friendly group of Anderson employees. They were the most impressive group that we have ever had do work for us.....and we're in our 70's. Every ittle detail was covered and we were informed at every step of the operation on when and what to expect. We truly would recommend this company and their product.

  I do not recommend using Renewal by Andersen. I have had nothing but issues since installation, and customer service does not communicate well once there are issues. Sales still pressured me to sign for final payment even though there are major, unresolved issues. 1) The windows ordered were not the windows that were represented and sold to me by the salesman. He verbally went over the contract and referenced this sample window. He literally brought the sample into my house to show me the grille style, metal locks, and handles after talking about how that's what I wanted. The only difference there should have been between the sample and what I ordered was the material. The screens were supposed to be thicker as well. The windows I received were not what I was expecting at all. 2) A bathroom window was added to the order and I sent him a picture of the sample window that was in my house. He edited the picture and sent it back to me so I could see how the bathroom window was going to match what we had already ordered. He could've caught the order issue then. We had a whole text conversation about how I wanted the bathroom window to match the grille style of the previously ordered windows. 3) I tried to stop the install when I saw that they were not the right window. The installer called the office and he was told to proceed with the install and that the office would talk to me about correcting it. This has not happened. My customer service representative did not email me or contact me for 3 weeks after I emailed about the problems. 4) I had to have a general contractor come out when the head installer James came to look at everything because the other installers swore there were no problems. There were problems with caulking and windows not closing right. It took 3 installers to figure out that the original installers left the packing foam in 3 of the windows so they would not close right. 5) On install day my dog got let out, they broke a lamp, and a leg on a vanity table. They did not listen when I said to wait so I could secure my dogs and move my own furniture. 6) A new top and metal screen had to be replaced but they ordered the top in the wrong style and the wrong screen, again. They are trying to just make me accept these windows the way they are without addressing the problem. They are asking me about another install date while blatantly ignoring that they are still wrong. Not happy at all. I have all of the texts and emails to support this. This low level of customer service and pressure to accept what is not correct is not what I expected from a big company like Renewal by Andersen. I chose them because my family uses this company, and they had great reviews. I did not get to experience the exceptional customer service that they boast about. 42k for everything listed above? No way. Do better Andersen.

  Although it took a while for all the pieces to come together, the whole process was enjoyable. From my salesman, to Taquana, who kept me informed on the progress, to chase, who came and measured, to Bill Smith and his team of Oscar, Rico, Martin and Damir, to James, who came to inspect, and Matt, who called about a small problem, everyone was great. Bill's team was awesome, working like a well-oiled machine, getting several parts done simultaneously, even though the weather wasn't cooperative. They were determined to get the job done in two days, and even stayed until almost 8pm to make sure it was all good. Overall, a very satisfactory experience, and I will recommend Anderson to any neighbor in our small village. The Andersons are desr, but, in my opinion, worth it. Thank You, Dave Derryberry
