Not only will I rate this company highly, I rate the employees even higher for their knowledge, professionalism, and being personable. I saved $6000.00 from the lowest quote I received prior. Tropical's prices offer the identical at no extra cost that the 4 other air conditioning companies were offering for addiinal money.

BEWARE: Our business purchased an A/C condenser Tropical Supply, that we purchased via Amazon in the summer of 2025, and we received it in August of 2025.
Upon recently fully opening, examining, and getting ready to have our new AC unit installed, we found that the metal side panels of the unit were damaged in two different places. At the time of delivery, the shipping box was undamaged, so we released the shipper from liability believing the unit was intact and without shipping damage, but it was far from having damage. Perhaps it was damaged 'prior' to shipping.
We called several contractors in the summer, but they were weeks out and wanting to charge exorbitant prices due to it being summer. It took us a while to find an A/C contractor to give us a bid to install this unit. It was three months later when we could finally find someone.
We finally found a couple of highly rated contractors who came out to give us an estimate and both A/C contractors gave me the bad news that the 410A unit I purchased from Tropical Supply was obsolete, cannot be sold anymore, and parts will be almost impossible to find. Several other contractors in my area refused to install it for similar reasons. This news was alarming to me and confused me as to why Tropical Supply company would sell a unit like this on Amazon "full well knowing that it was already obsolete". I don’t know what the reasoning is behind the company selling such a unit, but I would like to think that it was an honest mistake on their part..
We bought this unit in good faith only to find out it was a damaged and obsolete. I believe that it should not have been sold through Amazon knowing that it was obsolete.
I called Tropical Supply first, but they said that I had to contact Amazon. I called Amazon and they were very understanding and helpful, but said that I would need to contact Tropical Supply and that they would contact them as well suggesting a refund or exchange. That's when I called tropical Supply back and even sent them two more emails. I asked Tropical Supply for either a full refund, or an exchange for a non obsolete damaged unit. I even offered to pay for the return shipping. They said "no". Flat out "no", they wouldn't even consider an exchange with us paying for the return shipping. Then they sent us an email asking us to post a Google review. I emailed them saying that I didn't;t think that was wise as I didn't want to post a poor review and then asked for someone to contact me so we could once again try to work something out. Their reply was for me to once again post a review. Ok, so here it is. I do not recommend doing business with this company based on these facts.
