It's unfortunate I am giving a them a poor review but they deserve it. Had a simple job done that they did incorrectly. Had them come back to fix it. The guy said he changed the part but it looked the same and I found a new part in the sink after he left - so it appears he did not do anything. I went to the office to speak with the manager (instead of leaving this review) - he was not in and they would not share his email. They asked me to leave the part with them and my contact info. Never heard anything back. Sadly, I have to say they do bad work, are not trustworthy, and completely lack in customer service and care. Though the rate seemed reasonable, I'd rather give my money and business to a company who does good work with care and will hire a different plumbing company next time.

The plumber showed up and was polite. My problem was a delay (3 min) in obtaining hot water at the kitchen sink. I had told the office I wanted an in-line instant hot water unit installed. The plumber proceeded to take apart my faucet. I asked him to stop and told him I had done that Wednesday. I want an instant hot water unit. He told me those only deliver boiling water (212°). I told him that is not true. A review of products available on Amazon shows they can be set as low as 80°with 100-140° being common. He told me I needed a recirculating pump. After a brief discussion, he said it probably wouldn’t work with a tankless hot water system like we have. I told him there was nothing more to discuss. He wanted to charge me for his time and a trip charge. I said I wouldn’t pay since he did not come prepared to address my concern and only proposed a solution he admitted would not work.

Another great experience with Mike Scott Plumbing. I contacted them to replace 2 toilets and to replace all push/pull shut off valves in our home with quarter turn variety. Carlos and Nick showed up on time and completed the work in a professional manner. The guys were courteous and helpful. And the price was exactly as quoted. Great experience. Highly recommend Mike Scott Plumbing!

Water was backing up. We took videos and pics to show tech what was happening, one thing was sand coming up from shower. Husband also scooped sand out of outside sewer line. We told tech and he ignored. He snaked the pipe. Big deal because we knew the water would eventually drain through as it was happening for a few days. Of course it’s still happening. Husband purchased a camera to view the pipe and sure enough there is sand. Home is three years old and Scotts installed the plumbing. Not sure what we are going to do at this point. Going to see if there is a warranty. Probably didn’t cap pipes during construction. Never been an issue with two people living in home, but a different story six people running water over the holidays.

I've used these guys twice and first time was great for outdoor faucet repair. Second time sprinkler controller replacement went well and quickly but repair person overcharged me for his time. He was there 16 minutes which meant he had to charge me for 2 15 minute increments which is fair.
I made payment and when I got the invoice from Mike Scott office I saw that he had charged me for an hour of labor. Tech neglected to send me the invoice I guess because we talked about his time there and the charges didn't match up to the time.
Bryant Orshal was the techs name so be warned if he is your technician. He showed up 90 minutes after I got the 'he is on the way' text so I guess he billed me for whatever he was doing in that 90 minutes..
